We’ve had our fair share of tough days but it’s always worth going back to the 2005 Wood MacKenzie map (or the 2018 version if you can get your hands on it) to gain a perspective of the immense opportunity here. Look at shallow offshore from OPL 227/OML 97 westwards and consider:

1) are there likely to be other potentially very sizeable fields outside of the main, well established Chevron blocks just waiting to be developed?
2) with the IOCs increasingly pressured to relinquish shallow water in favour of deeper areas, who will be in prime position to take them on and meaningfully develop them?
3) overall, who else is bullishly looking to acquire sizeable assets in these areas and lining up the appropriate operational & financial resources to meaningfully develop them?

The scale of the opportunity is very clear. Whilst today’s funding news was unexpected and the dilution unwelcome, if it’s ultimately critical in the short term to help progress our growth strategy (as the RNS infers), then it won’t be too long before we see further assets and significant value. The scope of potential fields/blocks will ultimately outweigh everything else.

The boards inability to keep to a timescale or conclude anything it states in a rns is the reason for this latest funding at low levels! Dilution, deadline, missed deadline, missed deadline, missed deadline, dilution etc etc! That's has been the case for years here! Get a bloody move on bobo and co and actually achieve shareholder value here! Get that rig on site!

Cantor say 1p on production? Nice.

Does it include OML109? Or is that just Ororo?

Barak CEO - Later this month

Shelf - This month.

Ignore the buyback traders.

Wiser also said this was going zero and it hasn't.
As long as they get this producing which is still the case from what we know this will make us a profit, just need to see a few more blue days not red other wise we'll never see our money back.

Barak fund management giving us $20 million "later this month" is reassuring - maybe that will hit Cantors 1p target.

2.3p was in 2015 when we had 900 million shares in issue and oil was over $100 barrel.

About time they updated it.

If your read closely they've actually increased

Big downgrade in price forecast by Cantor Fitzgerald ...but then when have Brokers ever been right?

Cantor Fitzgerald today reaffirms its buy investment rating on Sirius Petroleum PLC [LON:SRSP] and cut its price target to 1p (from 2.30p).

“The Convertible Notes are being issued at a 5% discount but are interest free and can be issued and subscribed in sequential tranches. The Company will draw the first tranche of £1.75m immediately.”
Has the 1.5m already been paid to Shelf for the Adriatic Mobilisation or is the 1.5m coming out of this immediate 1.75m drawdown?

I was on the understanding that the Ororo finance was covered by the £12.5m REYL deal?

(After 11 years, srsp are still trying to raise seed cash....)

The annoying part is that we, long term holders, who have been here for at least eight years, yet the newbees, coming in from out of space, will make more than we devotees will.
