It looks as if the 185m December 3rd, 2p Warrants are back on again.

bleemster….do us favour....can you keep an eye on tracking the 'FORCE'...be interesting to find out where it's headed....on the other hand, a possibility exists that it may have failed its final recert acceptance by the Insurers.

"It was not initially clear what the Shelf contract meant for the rig deal Sirius has with the Chinese driller COSL for the COSL Force jack-up unit planned to be used for drilling in Nigeria.

In an email sent later to Offshore Energy Today, Sirius Petroleum confirmed it decided, by mutual agreement with COSL, to abrogate its agreement with COSL for the supply of a jack-up rig for the drilling programme on the Ororo field, OML 95."

So, could COSL be on board for later drilling, as we move on to other assets, or might we stick with our new best friends, Shelf? They are pretty big rig operators in their own right.

deadly - I don't believe COSL have gone. Its just a mutual agreement to terminate the Rig agreement with them. IMO COSL will still supply the "Force" at a later date to pick up where the Adriatic 1 contract finishes. Just my opinion.

yes i was only saying the other week ht that surely schlum could sort a rig rather then waiting on cosl. reading through the past two rig update rns's makes you think that i rekon cosl have been dusted, probably why srsp had to send guys out there because of the hold up and delays and srsp have done the sensible thing and gone else where. always have a plan b in life remember that folks

It's nice to see Schlumberger are involved with the main drilling campaign, as was originally envisaged, rather than the later direction drilling aspect.

good posts xerot and bleemster, lets start a fresh and have a good run up to xmas, if cosl have gone because they played hard ball then good ridance, least we now know this rig is a stones throw from ororo so we will never get a better chance of seeing ororo drilled. lets hope we get a few more good rns's from now on, if we get no further delays and drilling happens then the positive vibes will soon build here and folk will buy into this and start beleaving

Like I said 2 weeks ago. Probably not the boards fault this time but the Chinese as they are not people I'd want to deal with personally as they are extremely underhanded and will squeeze our company for everything and give nothing back. GLAD TO BE SHOT OF THEM.

Shelf are financially listed in Oslo so look likely to have been know to Add. Hopefully a bit more reliable than the other lot.
