An perfectly plausible reason for the delay completely out of SRSP's hands. Does beg the question as to why they couldn't have simply told us this earlier. Looking forward to the AGM

Vatna,

Yes it could be all about to happen before the early AGM. If the Force is going to be there for an extended operational duration then it would be a good time for it to have something to drill. Previous guidance for Ororo was just a 90 day operation for O-2 and O-3. It could take several weeks to get another asset site survey and analysed unless its been carried out already by the current operator. Hopefully it is the Falcon as Oman isn't exactly far away from UAE, keep an eye on it fella as we could be good to go. SRSP have operational staff there to oversee these final ops before rig mob.

Regards,
Ed.

One lie after another. This lot should be ashamed of themselves. More tosh expected at the agm. Does anyone believe anything they come up with? Zero cred.

"...and have commenced a programme of critical equipment re-certification."

I wonder why they have only started it now? It's been sitting there for two months.

"COSL is currently in discussions with HLV providers..."

so it seems they are not expecting to use one of their own vessels, either because they are currently stationed too far away or got other contracts. As I said earlier, the Falcon seems to have stopped off Oman on its way to Singapore, so maybe, just maybe...

No wonder Force's Senior Toolpusher left in April to look for another job. He obviously knew that his rig was going nowhere in the next 6 months. So, if he knew, that means others knew too but chose to keep us in the dark. Worse than that, it was pure deception. A sizzling, tooled-up hot rig all ready to go, mobilisation all but completed.

sounds like fantasy to me DrRichard - you don't forget to recertify a rig

I'm still curious how much COSL are paying us for the delay...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...hope someone will ask this question during AGM!!!

Vatna,

Good guess there fella, I like to see it from the RNS's though and we've got that this morning. They did say in the last RNS that they would update on mob completion. Well we now know they're planning on keeping the rig in west Africa for an extended operational duration. As previously discussed to drill after Ororo would require an addtional asset (s) which are drill ready (including site survey) if they were to move the rig to the next asset. To suggest the Force is going to stay on an extended operational duration suggests ab additional asset as they haven't yet changed from extended well test to early FFD. And they wouldn't do that anyway until Ororo has been fully tested. I'm sure you're now pleased that COSL are in current discussions with HLV providers to get the show on the road for the Force's stay in West Africa. Who knows the next update may include the name of the vessel for you avid ship watchers.

Regards,
Ed.

Now it may just be coincidence, but the Falcon, on its way from Bahrain to Singapore, has just stopped in off Oman.

Told you it was still sitting in Dubai harbour!

So why has it taken so long get going with the re-cerification, since the beginning of April when it came off hire? Think there's more to this than meets the eye.

At least they've told us something now, which of course they could have told us a long time ago, unless they have just thought of it?

Pete,

All shares are suspended at the moment! :) Just checked IG too to make sure it wasn't just advfn monitor, they say market closed there too! Maybe the anticipation of the pipeline of assets has brought down the entire market. :) We know they're making long term plans to keep it in West Africa. Must be a tech issue on the live feed from LSE this morning.

Ed.
