So why has it taken so long get going with the re-cerification, since the beginning of April when it came off hire? Think there's more to this than meets the eye.

At least they've told us something now, which of course they could have told us a long time ago, unless they have just thought of it?

Pete,

All shares are suspended at the moment! :) Just checked IG too to make sure it wasn't just advfn monitor, they say market closed there too! Maybe the anticipation of the pipeline of assets has brought down the entire market. :) We know they're making long term plans to keep it in West Africa. Must be a tech issue on the live feed from LSE this morning.

Yes that's a very interesting way of putting it. Sounds like they're going to have control of the Force for beyond 90 days as they're now expecting to have the Force prepared for West Africa for an "extended operational duration". Further developmental assets would certainly require an extended duration.

Whoopee great news ,looks like they,ve fixed the gearbox.just need another few months to get the MOT and ,oh hang on a minute ,just need to fix the transport vessel,the MOT has run out on that and we forgot to check beforehand.
Got to smile at the way this company views it's shareholders..If ever there was a time to thank shareholders for their patience ,haha and they have even forgot to do that .great blockbuster RNS waiting in the wings?

Solarno maybe, but did not someone post a Linked-in reference to a senior guy leaving Force. Was he dropped for missing the recertification date? Big error and someone slipped up for sure.

It's not unforeseen circumstances....re-certification dates are known well in advance. We should have been told this weeks back, COSL will know exactly when anything needs to tested on all of their rigs/vessels

At least they finally told us why it's been held up.No change just waiting for mobilisation as we always have been, ororo will be drilled just h2 instead of h1 due to unforeseen delays.Shows up the numpties on here stating it was on site that's one thing.
