12/6/2017 07:31 | What I find very enigmatic about this company is that in the past they issued an rns that referred to some non existent news item...that all of us on this board at the time tried, without success, to locate, Yet here we have a genuine news article and, as yet, no acknowledgement...hm HTTPS//uk.advfn.com/ Let's hope the deal is successfully closed and an update issued. In any event, I should imagine a reference to the article to be made in the up and coming Result. | htrocka2
12/6/2017 07:16 | fade the gap. the key will be if it manages to get through 1.2p with volume. if so, 3p awaits. according to the tea leaves | jjcamargo
12/6/2017 07:14 | Press speculation - Wait for the company to confirm then watch the boom | pipelinepete
12/6/2017 07:08 | No rns but 21% rise, we need official news though now no more rumours. | aventador
12/6/2017 05:44 | If there's no 'update' RNS this morning,I wonder how significant the lack of denial will be regarded? | jenny tulwought
11/6/2017 20:34 | How much might be needed for allowing Sirius in on 241. Farm-in fee to Owena and a registration fee to DPR. BP money would sort that + would get a foothold on the megablock, never mind a toehold offtake on Ororo field and its gas tie-ins. | dr rosso
11/6/2017 19:20 | For the consortium being the whole lot. Add, Schlumberger and COSL all made reference to 'other' opportunities outside Ororo with costs delayed until the money is coming in. The 4th and final partner with the money on the table to secure the licences for the available/distressed assets? | cornishtrader1000
11/6/2017 19:19 | Looking forward to this week won't be sticking at 0.8p for long as someone said a while back this is worth pounds not pence.Advanced discussions and a times article isn't something to take likely and maybe explains the lengthy delays and what's been a top secret project.Gonna be some siriusly rich people here; and i even lmay see a profit again soon whoop. | aventador
11/6/2017 18:55 | Final comment today... Note the terms 'advanced discussions' and 'last member of the Vendor Finance Consortium' The point being...Was BP the final member (note the singular) with whom both SRSP and the 'city sources' claim are in 'advanced discussions' with...which SRSP claim as 'the last member'. Surely with the 'Sunday Times' article and the term 'finalise' they cannot be talking about or with any one else. The term 'advanced discussions' may have been a coincidental phrase used by both writers , but in my mind, it's a conclusive link between the two separate pieces below and hints of the latter Times article being 'authorised' by the former prior to printing.(my opinion only). No comment from either side...but the linking phrases gives the impression that the article went out with the BOD's blessing and was the primary source of its construction. Vendor Finance Consortium Following the execution of the agreement with Schlumberger, the Company is now in advanced discussions to finalise the participation of the last member of the Vendor Finance Consortium and intends to announce further details in due course regarding the final elements of the financing and operational service agreements 'City sources said the FTSE 100 giant is in advanced discussions with Sirius Petroleum.....' | htrocka2
11/6/2017 17:48 | Wheres Rich80 and his partner whose a bit like the quiet one from the petshop boys? they must have an opinion on this BP action | bumhammer
11/6/2017 17:39 | Nevertheless, I bet someone sells their shares tomorrow at 0.8p! | vatnabrekk
11/6/2017 16:26 | Good luck with your short TT, looks like you are going to need it | rugbybloke
11/6/2017 15:44 | Didn't someone once quote:-'Countries would go to war over 241'Imagine the share price if Ororo is the Hub for 95, additionally Sirius get their hands on the other fields within 95. Add 241 and maybe 2012? With a proven record of getting these into production, if there is no takeover this company will be a monster with world renowned partners pumping billions of $'s into the Nigerian government in taxes and providing dividends to shareholders with a massive market cap. | cornishtrader1000
11/6/2017 15:13 | BP valuation rolls in at £92bn. $118bn Schlum already signed up. Add COSL. Heady mix of partners. £7m to BP is a gnat`s knackers. Did you know: BP is the world's 10th-largest company by revenue. wikipedia.org | dr rosso
11/6/2017 15:10 | So, oil to BP et al, and gas in its various forms to Nigeria. Add in four huge companies and a National and State government for good measure and no wonder it takes a long time stitch all these interests and assets together. | drrichard
11/6/2017 14:59 | In relation to total O&G assets, Ororo field is a pitifully small 10% which has been used as a front to cover up the whole multi-asset programme. BP revelations are going to blow the cover. Suspension? Companies like BP don`t get out of bed for much under 100k mmboe per day Glencore was equity destruction whilst this supposed BP deal is straight debt finance. You can bet your life there`ll be a clause that gives BP first refusal on much bigger asset ie Block 241. JOA? | dr rosso
11/6/2017 14:55 | This is all about 8 outlying fields in OML95, one of which is Ororo. Total 240mmboe. 70% gas, most of which was flared off by Chevron in the past. BP in for the highly lucrative condensate/NGLs and looks to be finalising an offtake deal for them in return for around £7m upfront. Strengthens Sirius hand considerably in negotiating to pick up distressed assets. Should be around 30k mmboe per day from the off. If BP is here, they`ll be targeting double this in heavy hydrocarbon production. Should be pretty fast too as Chevron got the licence renewal for renewed production back in Feb 2015, so must be ready for multi-field flow from a string of established wells. | dr rosso
11/6/2017 14:54 | BP bringing more to the table than kudos and cash, it seems | drrichard
11/6/2017 14:54 | May I remind you ofGLENCORE.Now read the article on that whooping take off agreement. As I have said Talks cheap money buys.Don't hold your breath. | the truth teller
11/6/2017 14:30 | The times has been used by the bod in The past to pump up the share price here while big cats were unloading ! Let's hope there is some truth behind it but you never know with this lot! | shez20
11/6/2017 13:43 | Original article states 4M funding this new article states 5-10M so perhaps Ben Harrington has done more digging. Shouldn't have to wait too long for news now IMO | qprallan
11/6/2017 13:41 | And, the Sunday Times piece has more meat on the bone than the previous blog post | drrichard
11/6/2017 13:01 | Wasn't it the times that brought up spencer buying in on srsp and we all know what happened then! | shez20 |
