10/4/2017 11:15 | 'I've read the rnss and there's nothing in them about other stuff needed to be done elsewhere....' I have to go along with drr on this one.. 'Because Ororo is only part of their plan?...' 26/11/2012 ..the Company intends to execute the farm-in agreement for the Oil Block, following which the Company will work with its partners, to put both the Ororo Field and the Oil Block into production, as soon as is practicable. it sounds to me because the bod used the phrase that Polaris were to survey 'around' Ororo...that the above mentioned 'OIL BLOCK' is adjacent to Ororo and is included in the Polaris Survey. 'The contract envisages a drilling programme on the Ororo Field and can be expanded to include other potential offshore assets' if the drilling programme is to be a consecutive/follow on.....then a prior survey will be required and will no doubt be Polaris. . | htrocka2
10/4/2017 11:13 | Dr Rosso, Perhaps COSL told them we'll have a rig free about May, get Polaris seabed survey in during April. Perhaps SRSP told them, we'll have the cash for the seabed survey and ship available in April. Who knows. Important thing is that the seabed survey is happening now. Look at all the other oil companies out there, seabed survey is last thing done before drilling. Does that confirm drilling soon after, no, but its a pointer to it happening sooner rather than later. That means its pretty much odds on that vendor partners and SRSP are good to go. I'll take those odds. Regards, Ed. | edgein
10/4/2017 10:41 | Is there a three month lead in to first oil from funding announcement? That's the rough timescale I though we where running to also no sign of ad doc fourth partner and we are nearly in mid April pushing the deadlines tight, but makes sense to do the seabed survey imminently to mobilisation of rig. | aventador
10/4/2017 10:37 | I've read the rnss and there's nothing in them about other stuff needed to be done elsewhere. Remember they keep telling us that we should only believe in what these rnss tell us. Just a slight delay from the earlier notification (Oct 2011) of a site survey, rig mobilisation, and oil production anticipated by Sept 2012. | dr rosso
10/4/2017 10:16 | Because Ororo is only part of their plan? Other stuff needs doing and why pay for a time-dated survey before you need to? Still time to spud in H1. | drrichard
10/4/2017 10:12 | But why wait 5 months after COSL/Schlumberger signed up? | dr rosso
10/4/2017 09:19 | My goodness you guys do like your conspiracy theories that's for sure. You cannot use a 31 year old seabed survey for upcoming drilling. Not surprising really that COSL won't ship a multi $m jack-up rig into 25m of water without one. 31 year old seismic if its of good quality as the Chevron data is likely to be fine, no worries, 31 year old seabed survey pretty much useless. Seabed survey would be requested from the contractor before imminent rig mob, not 6 months before, not 12 months before. Regards, Ed. | edgein

09/4/2017 22:05 | This time last year at easter we were all on this bb convinced news was going to come at any moment. To think another year has past since then. I would be surprised if polaris results come before easter break could possibly more towards end of the month as it said 2 weeks to conduct tests and by the time they go over results it could be pushing it to hear news this week. What is going to be interesting is how soon after we get results will the rig be in place. Just hope and pray we do not get any problems with this seabed survey as thats the last thing we need is another delay after all the years of delays we have already had. These next couple of months are make or break for us all invested here. Fingers crossed for a good week ahead. | deadly nightshade
09/4/2017 21:11 | Taking positions this week. Post-Easter will see jack-up or jack-all | dr rosso
