Well put sherlock i did say the other day that them 3 characters who keep making stupid predictions know nothing. I do love how these new posters pop up and act as if they are "in the know". From my point of view this could still go either way as its dependent on this last "big rns" which is no sure thing if we look at the past history of all this which in my opinion is a fair comment. Until we get this rns which could still be months even years away as time frames have never been a in fashion thing as far as this has all been concerned. This is not been negative its being honest as no one here yet has called this right and by heck there has been some posts on this company. oOne thing i have learnt investing in aim shares is that its all about the entry point that you buy in, anyone having bought in here around 4/5p mark will feel like they still have a mountain to climb, if you had bought in at 0.20 you could have 5 bagged this at least. Also aim shares can always come down as quick as they go up which gives folk a chance to sell at top of rise and buy back in if they choose if it falls again. The thing here is we are all waiting on the big SIX to be smashed out the ground in cricket terms so people can be scared to sell in case this so called "big news" may come and they are locked out at the time. If the next rns contains everything we want to hear then we will be doing cartwheels but it will be a very long way back if this falls at the final hurdle. We have just got to keep waiting folks and its something we are all use to doing investing here.

Wasn't having a pop and sorry if it came across that way. You've invested here when the wider market hasn't yet grasped the potential, so you're clearly not too shabby an investor!
Simply put, ignore anonymous posters and focus on official stated info. I've said before that I think the Board have been pretty generous with laying out some key elements of the likely story. However most people don't look carefully enough or sometimes can't see the wood for the trees. As a non-insider I too am very aware that I could be well off the mark.

This company is pretty difficult to fathom but I reckon if you continually question everything, sometimes the possible answers are enlightening.

Sol - hate to break it to you but Epe knows as much/little as anyone else here. No insider would be foolish enough to openly post on a BB. Plus, how hard is it for anyone to chose a Nigerian sounding moniker, talk in riddles and repeat the words 'brothers & rejoice'?!

Anyway, back to reality. Ignore what's written here and focus on RNSs and related official info. When they're read very carefully, analysed, questioned and cross-referenced with wider research, a couple of things mentioned in the past year don't seem to fully stack up. But I reckon this is in a good way, in that (as we all suspect) it potentially reveals we've only been presented with a portion of the overall story.....and probably for good reason currently. I'll keep you in suspense as to those particular elements as it's both fun and rewarding to discover them yourselves.

Probably nothing to do with the 'price of chips', let's just call it a 'coincidence', however, Dr Mimimko, who on the 24th of February,(23 days time) is to become ex Ondo State Governor. Until then,Dr Mimimko, remains head of Ondo State hence responsible for over seeing the running of the 100% State owned asset Owena Oil and Gas (that has had vast state funds pumped into it during his term of office)....So I wonder why Dr Mimimko found it necessary to have the ex head of NNPC to oversee the transition of the post?....is it possibly to explain to the new Governor the 'Owena' story going forward ?.... and that an NNPC/Owena link up may well possibly be on the cards?. Apologies if it seems that I'm just clutching at straws here, but what is Dr Mimimko going to do for work now....my bet is that he'll remain as manager of 'Owena' on behalf of the Ondo State.

black-or-red suggests that the info came from the 'Finals'. The only two related paragraphs below suggests, to me any way, that I doubt that NNPC would partner a small outfit such as srsp but might entertain joining forces with the 100% owned ONDO State vehicle.....in which we have an interest.

from the rns below..
'....the Company's (srsp) partnership with the Ondo State government, through Owena Oil & Gas Limited which is owned 100% by the Ondo State government, provides valuable access to proven oil discoveries located within Ondo State.

'.... The managing director of the NNPC reiterated their commitment to increasing Nigeria's gas production which is in line with our strategy to commercialise the gas on the Ororo field and generate additional sources of revenue.
