The only time they would be allowed to issue shares at par would be via a rights issue (which they have mentioned). They'll not be allowed to issue shares willy nilly below the current share price They can issue shares at a premium but not at a discount to the share price

I have come to the conclusion sol that this thread is my daily date with a soap opera ,I have frowned at those watching the daily drivel of coronation street and eastenders and hypocritically I sit here glued to oilyoaks.
Not strictly true as I do do my fair share of work .

As suspected, all three larger significant trades yesterday (Bed & ISA, 3m buy & 20m) appear to have been triggered following the RNS. The first two were positive so there was no reason to assume the latter wasn't also. Looks to me like we must be nearly there.

What a difference a day makes ,last night the doc was in the trenches and this morning it's the red carpet ..a day in the life of Sirius petroleum.!!
Even if I didn't want to read his posts I couldn't help myself would still have a peep.

Whats going on with this 20 million trade just shown up? something is unfolding here thats for sure, why was it covered up untill this morning? todays share price is going to be very interesting

Herman - But the 462,500 nominal value in relation to warrants will in true value be 186mill × 2p = 3.7 mill if memory serves me correct

1alfi, agreed, the 'non allocated' allotments could be ultimately issued at any price. But we know that almost half of the proposed allotments are being issued at nominal value which I read as par: £1,305,018 at nominal value are being allotted re fees for oil field services, and £462,500 at nominal value in relation to the warrants. It will be interesting to see what price the rights issue goes for.

1.7 billion appears to be lot of shares but until we can put some value on our assets it is just an insignificant number.

If we have 4 billion shares and our assets are worth 400 million - would that work out at 10p a share ?

In an earlier discussion on here someone asked what they thought the company would be valued at ,Sirius will have a figure based on the share total.The amount of shares is not important but the value of the pipeline is the important factor.Summer 2015 the statement from bobo about putting things in place to bring short term and all plans together stuck in my mind.I believe this is what the company has done and we are now coming to the end of those steps.As the doc says ,it's time to put ones feet up and wait for the AGM.In my view any shares sold now will be snapped up with grateful hands .

1alfi, only because the notice states the nominal value of the £4m of shares to be issued, but does not mention a strike price.

Herman - 186mill shares has been allocated to satisfy the 2p warrants. Please tell me how you work out those same shares are going to be issued at .25p
