05/10/2016 16:12 | "you'd have to be completely useless to come out of this without a deal" let's hope that isn't Bobo's epitaph | witchywoo
05/10/2016 14:19 | If we only had one funding proposal on the table I'd probably still be a little nervous based on past experience with Nima/Levant. Two funding options and the risk factor is considerably mitigated. Three competing proposals from multinationals who have been in discussions for months and who have studied the full CPR....well you'd have to be completely useless to come out of this without a deal. It also bodes well that they've openly told us about the multiple options. Surely to reveal this, the Board must feel a high degree of confidence, otherwise why heap more pressure on yourselves and essentially sign the company's death warrant if you do end up with nothing? Surely this month is the one where we finally see real visible progress here. | sherl0ck
05/10/2016 09:22 | HT you just add another BOP to the system | solarno lopez
05/10/2016 09:02 | O/T An interesting comment made in the URL below in that most wells in the Delta region fail to go beyond the 10,000 ft TD due to increased pressure (baring in mind that at the time of drilling, gas was considered a 'waste' product.) One of SRSP's objectives is to explore below the 10,000 ft region specifically to locate and commercialise the previously unwanted extra gas. 'adding that a greater number of these wells had not gone beyond the 10,000 feet as a high pressure regime seemed to be a limiting factor.' | htrocka2

05/10/2016 00:03 | 1Sonic. Nice. | drrichard
04/10/2016 23:47 | Should read "Got it" Need new specks! | avizandum
04/10/2016 23:45 | Git it. Premise fine, timescales, we pray! | avizandum
04/10/2016 23:39 | Not offended me Aviz. Just the doc is not 100% correct in timescale so read the rns's he's right up till a point but if we all go on the doc we would all be broke UNTIL NOW! | 1sonic
04/10/2016 23:36 | Thanks Bumhammer. Your thoughts appreciated | avizandum
04/10/2016 23:28 | I am invested Sonic, no ulterior motive. Interested in views on timescales, but not interested in annoying peeps. Sorry if I have offended | avizandum
04/10/2016 23:01 | Aviz, why are you asking the doc. Nov 15 he stated 72 hours of trading before news of a big rise....... Work it out... Are we close or not... In you are in good...buy more, if not stay out and lose out..... | 1sonic
04/10/2016 22:47 | I'll pitch in on this question. With the agm being on the 17th Nov. I'll say 2-3 weeks before an announcement of some sort, followed by a 2 week suspension while the Co changes to a production type. Pop out just in time as new co for AGM. Is that too far fetched? | bumhammer
04/10/2016 22:42 | Doc... the 50 million dollar questions: How long away would you guestimate to suspension, and how long do you think that will be for? Thoughts and guesses only | avizandum
04/10/2016 21:13 | Sherl0ck - great minds think alike. When I heard of the Kim Kardashian jewelry 'robbery' my first thought was that its a set up insurance scam. Havn't these people got enough money already. | 6cer
04/10/2016 20:53 | I can just imagine SRSP being laughed at in meetings a few years ago just because they are saying they are from Nigeria and have ten billion barrels of oil ready to explode out of the ground. Why commit to such a risky project whilst business is booming?! Fast forward to todays price and those same people are probably desperate to get some work and might at least take a second look at the data that has been amassed. Then again, I am just guessing, I have no clue how the industry works. (Yet I am invested here! So I am just as insane as the rest of you :p ) | flazak
04/10/2016 20:41 | I think the oil price going to where it is today is actually the best thing that could happen to Sirius. No one seemed interested in SRSP when the price was high - I guess they were all too busy drilling for oil in silly places. But now? They can't drill holes in silly places anymore and no one wants to do that either because it isn't profitable. Now what about the people drilling the holes? Do they just go home and retire or something? No they just go and drill some holes in places that are profitable at this new price, and if they (SRSP) don't have the money they work for free! The oil extracted will pay them. Win win. | flazak
04/10/2016 18:29 | 'I think we'll find that all 3 multinational service companies will be joining us in the project funding. Schlumberger + BTG + ANO...' SOU began it's near 500% rise since July after one of it's partners announced a £50m injection with the Schlumberger partnership announced shortly afterwards. | htrocka2
04/10/2016 18:29 | Some folk popping Ecstacy tabs early this evening | bumhammer
04/10/2016 18:05 | Dr Rosso I believe in you☺ | carados
04/10/2016 18:02 | I think we'll find that all 3 multinational service companies will be joining us in the project funding. Schlumberger + BTG + ANO. Wouldnt be surprised to hear of a MacQuarie-led consortium for 241 once that block is announced. | dr rosso |
