01/8/2016 22:12 | Ive never had a reply from Bobo, I once had Jamie reply on his behalf but that was it. Mike H was always great for a chat until he left too. | minichris
01/8/2016 22:09 | Mini, I'm still waiting for Bobo to get back to me. I will send Simon an email instead. Maybe he's the top man now! I'm connected with him on LinkedIn so maybe Inmail him. | 1sonic
01/8/2016 22:02 | 1Sonic, I email Simon quite often and always get a very prompt and courteous reply. He may not be able to divulge much, but, it also keeps the company aware of its shareholders. | minichris
01/8/2016 21:57 | These same people have all thought something will happen in the past themose and nothing has ever come of it! Time for actions from the company! | shez20
01/8/2016 21:39 | Funny, I know a few people who think something will happen.. | them0se
01/8/2016 20:47 | In all my years here I'm yet to see the one I'm hoping for - it's got to come one day but it'll be well delayed of course - Sirius style - that's why no ones rushing to buy into this - they don't quite believe anything is going to happen. | carrbradshaw
01/8/2016 19:19 | Thanks for info sonic, thought i was clutching at straws mate. I am still pretty confident that we will have some sort of RNS this week, weather its the one we are all hoping for is another matter. | deadly nightshade
01/8/2016 19:11 | Deadly simon Hawkins has been on contact page for a few months now. Email him bet you won't get a reply. | 1sonic
01/8/2016 19:04 | It may be old news but i just googled sirius petroleum and i noticed underneath their website which is number 1 in the search is another heading listed contact sirius, when i clicked it simon hawkins details come up with the berkley square address where you can email him. Ive never noticed this before, but it may have been there for a while, does anyone else know how long its been like that? this share is like snakes and ladders can't help looking at what's happening to sound energy and thinking that's what should be happening here. But if this is going to be done its going to be the hard way here i think.Still plenty more twists to play out here | deadly nightshade
01/8/2016 18:00 | A bit more.... Guarantee P were the first to get shut down on July 9th after a months warning for non payment of four years back taxes. | htrocka2
01/8/2016 16:22 | What would make sense of it all is that DPR revoked GP's operating rights some weeks ago, and those rights have been transferred over to Sirius. That would also fit with MPR at this point renewing the licence and inviting Sirius to hand over $500k. Starting to look like GP is out of the picture altogether, and Sirius-Owena all set to start drilling as soon as AD confirms transformation to producer status. | dr rosso
01/8/2016 15:45 | if GP has indeed gone, Sirius will not be paying them the $500k balance that still remains outstanding from the $1.5m due | dr rosso
01/8/2016 15:43 | Operating Update 22/4/2016 - "When funding for the Ororo 2 well has progressed, Sirius expects to be able to conclude the amendment or waiver of certain terms of the FTSA as referred to in the announcement of 22 September 2015." I wonder if the funding for Ororo2 development well was in place before the demise of Guarantee and what the amendment or waiver of certain terms of the FTSA included. | 1alfi
01/8/2016 15:12 | All very well stating that £500k has been raised. Still need official confirmation that it has been handed over to MPR, so confirming a 3-year licence extension. We should also expect clarification via this RNS as to which of the partners is the designated field operator, and how the ownership of the Ororo lease is split. Until we are told otherwise, it remains 45% Owena/55% GP, with the latter retaining operator rights. Quite possible that everything, including this latest puzzle, is going to be explained via AD, which is due for publication shortly. Shareholder mist should be lifted when we see the AD and associated proposals for egm later this month. From that point onwards NewCo will be an O&G producer (and operator), fully funded and ready for initial drilling. | dr rosso
01/8/2016 15:09 | Sol .we don't know what agreement has been reached .Its all hearsay but I feel sure the importance to Nigeria on what Sirius and schlumberger and Owena have been working on for the past five years will over ride any issues with guarantee. When the directors at afren were alledgedly fiddling before our ex chap went in short term to sort things out,I've never heard anymore about those directors or what they were up to and doubt any afren shareholders found out although I wasn't an afren shareholder so could not be certain of that . | bronislav
01/8/2016 15:08 | Dr...that's true...but they can sell their stake. | htrocka2
01/8/2016 15:01 | Correct but it could sell its portion of the lease because and according to posters on this board it has a value | solarno lopez
01/8/2016 15:00 | The assets belong to FGN. Oil Companies are granted leases, licences and permits which entitle them to operate on the blocks and fields. The Co. then owns the lease. It will never own the asset. GP was gifted 55% of the Ororo lease, which can just as easily be revoked. As for GP selling off assets in order to pay a tax bill, ... impossible, it cannot sell part of an oilfield because it doesn't own it, it's a State-owned asset and always will be. There's nothing to grab. Same applies anywhere in the world, be it Iraq, Saudi. | dr rosso
01/8/2016 13:57 | The IRS could make 'Guarantee' bankrupt and freeze or grab their assets | htrocka2
01/8/2016 13:47 | " Bronislav 1 Aug'16 - 13:43 - 53332 Rudolf .why not give them a call ." The legal way is for the company to issue an RNS ... any garbage could be said over the phone. | ruedolf
01/8/2016 13:43 | Rudolf .why not give them a call . | bronislav
01/8/2016 13:43 | Like I said Ruedolf we need clarification and not speculation | solarno lopez
01/8/2016 13:41 | " 1alfi 1 Aug'16 - 13:28 - 53328 Ruedolf - the Licence hasn't been revoked, IT HAS BEEN RENEWED. " It has recently being renewed . ... but the license operator has since being shut down by revenue .... .. What happens the licence then ? ..that's were we need clarification from the company in an rns ... .. not left up to rumours or peoples opinions ... There is a risk that the licence could be revoked or else revert to the remaining partners ? A lot of unanswered questions that need to be answered by the company. | ruedolf
01/8/2016 13:33 | drr....With Schlumberger having completed an Initial Assessment of Ororo and coming up with ... - The P50 - P10 Gas Initially In Place estimated at 396.5 - 557.6 Bscf with Recoverable Gas of 276.9 - 390.66 Bscf (P50 - P10). I doubt there's much risk there....and the Road Show notice board did claim that Schlumberger (whom they also refer to as a 'partner') WILL drill Ororo. "is pleased to announce" The bottom line....the more we persist with the 'Guarantee' 'problem' the more pressure it puts on the BOD to release a statement. | htrocka2 |
