28/1/2016 23:43 | With oil over $35, Carrebradshaw, anything is surely possible. Be it drilling alone, or even a JV partner dusting off the book and reconsidering things. | drrichard
28/1/2016 23:43 | I dread the next RNS - what the hell is coming next! | carrbradshaw
28/1/2016 23:26 | Drrichard I know you are keen for this to succeed but please acknowledge that the Hawkins and ninogas thing is not good | jimduggan
28/1/2016 23:24 | Hmm, interesting point, Carrebradshaw. I wonder if they thought that if his overall interest was unchanged then no need to clarify. However, as you point out he must have purchased 6,912,000 "proper" shares. The NOMAD must have signed this off. | drrichard
28/1/2016 23:09 | Sirius Petroleum (SRSP) has just announced that one of its NEDs, Chris Neal, has closed a spread bet he had in the company's shares. Whatever.. But the RNS does not actually make sense. It reads: On 27th January 2016, Christopher (Chris) Neal, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, closed a spread bet position representing 6,912,000 shares. Following this, his interest remains unchanged in 19,674,083 ordinary shares representing 1.16% of the total voting rights of the Company. Ok, so was he long or short. For choice a smart man would have been short of this POS which has negative net assets and is almost certainly going to run out of cash (again) this year. But as it happens he was long. Because when he was appointed on 2 November 2015 the company stated: Chris Neal is interested in 12,762,083 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the Company, representing 0.8% of the total issued share capital of the Company. He is also interested in a further 6,912,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company by virtue of a spread bet. Ends. But hang on, if he has closed the spread bet he is in fact surely only interested in 12.762083 million shares not 19.674083 million shares. Unless he has actually bought shares in the market and not told us about it. So which is it? If there has not actually been an (undeclared) purchase then Mr Neal is in fact reducing his stake by more than a third. Why? Perhaps Nomad Cairn might wish to clear up thus understandable confusion? - See more at: hxxp://www.shareprop | carrbradshaw
