06/7/2015 21:34 | A dollar is good for me, will it be this year will it be next that's the question as it stands still have no idea of timescales could be next week could be next year I would like to think by the August agm there will be something more juicy on the table that's for sure. | thundercat1
06/7/2015 13:09 | Kebab77...we're down to one $1 (as things stand at the moment) | htrocka2
06/7/2015 12:03 | DrRamp still here and still saying £1. Lolz | kebab77
06/7/2015 07:13 | again from Ophir.. 'Group revenue, cash flow and capex are expected to be in line with expectations and the cash at year end 2015 remains as previously forecast at $700-750 million with a net cash position of $350-400 million.' More than enough for a farm in. | htrocka2
06/7/2015 07:03 | Nick Cooper, Chief Executive Officer of Ophir commented:"This is a tough time in the commodity cycle but Ophir has a strong balance sheet and minimal capex commitments. Our financial flexibility provides a competitive advantage and Management is actively screening opportunities to enhance shareholder returns. | cammy3
05/7/2015 22:12 | Bron.... to play the game proffesionally, one takes out the cost of input...and the rest is left to ride. | htrocka2
05/7/2015 21:58 | Why did you remove my name Thundercat? | them0se
05/7/2015 21:33 | Nothing's changed the recent confirmation from havoc and detailed rns regarding recent activities has made things more clear though along with good research from some posters not THEMOSE though hes just a sheep moaning at other posters and leeching info- filtered. | thundercat1
05/7/2015 21:07 | Chris, where's the facts...backed up by a CPR shall we call it 7 Trillion Barrels of oil then......some don't like being challenged with technical questions....so tell me what evaluations have they made on this block you seem to be second guessing...living on hope where are the reports I am waiting | euclid5
05/7/2015 21:00 | Htrocka ...so the top bods who know where we are all assuming this is going to end up ,are going to dump on the rise ....not sure that makes sense to me but hey what do I know....sell out at 5p instead of end game ...really? | bronislav
05/7/2015 20:38 | htrockaSounds just like an AIM stock lol | oilbuy
05/7/2015 19:59 | Thundercat. You've been just about slitting your wrists over the past months with topgun.. What's changed? | them0se
05/7/2015 19:07 | There's a phenomenal amount of shares out there waiting for this to go....I'd say the majority of them were issued at cira 5p. (mind you T.Hayward was recently awarded, amoung others, 15m in lieu of salary owed for 1p at a 50% discount) 15m...that's more than you get in a thousand confetti boxes that you throw over newly weds....we're beyond telephone numbers here. My bet is that the real money won't come until the market has allowed all these that have accepted shares in lieu of payment, have off loaded early into the initial rise....remember that for every seller there's got to be a buyer. | htrocka2
05/7/2015 18:54 | Hopefully just a question of counting down the time now until we get some more news, hoping for a good week. | thundercat1
05/7/2015 12:56 | ref Sherlock.. Page 11: mention that the Board will be increased with additional Director appointments when operations commence in Nigeria I've a gut feeling that Toby Hayward might on that list.. | htrocka2
05/7/2015 09:56 | In the absence of evidence 7b is a fantasy figure as is 6b,5b and so on. | x1000
04/7/2015 23:49 | Euclid you obviously think they have sat there with their thumbs up each others bums for three years doing nothing on this block. Wally. | chris shiherlis
04/7/2015 22:16 | You are correct mate - | x1000
04/7/2015 21:52 | so have you seen the last CPR then...otherwise stating 7BBN is just pure guess work ? | euclid5
04/7/2015 11:54 | Blackwood info is about 6 or 7 years old and there's been a lot of additional work conducted on OPL 241 since then. Whatever the actual scale of the asset, we know it's a biggie and so any deal where we can farm-in to a chunk of this should cause a major rerate. | sherl0ck
04/7/2015 10:59 | where do you get 7BBn from ? the main prize is the 7bbn OPL241, much of which has been reclassified as 2P reserves Guess this is not proven up yet - will be lots of exploration drilling & appraisal drilling to prove up 7BBN ____________________ "Block OPL 241 The Blackwood Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Oilworld to acquire 60% majority stake in OPL 241 Oil concession. OPL 241 is located in the shallow waters of the Niger Delta Basin, Nigeria, at the end of 2005. The total concession area is 1,182 sqkm Estimated Oil & Gas Reserves are in the range of 1,8 billion barrels plus probable reserve in excess of 400 million barrels" hxxp://www.blackwood | euclid5
04/7/2015 10:38 | Funding at project level ie through the 3 subsidiaries. Nice to see OPL2012 back on the menu with its 1bbn contingent, but that one has had little work done on it so it`ll be on the backburner for development. Neither does Sirius, Havoc or Ophir have the capacity to develop it until significant revenue stream from their first 2 blocks. Whilst Havoc field management team will kick off with Ororo, the main prize is the 7bbn OPL241, much of which has been reclassified as 2P reserves following PGS gathering seismic data. Once the full block has been analysed by Schlumberger, at $7pb, it takes on a NAV of a staggering $50bn. 40% of that to Sirius, with an option to increase to 60%. Chuck in Ororo tie-ins and 2012, and NAV jumps to around $55bn at current state of play, with considerable upside for NewCo. Present sub-1p share price gives mcap of £10m ($15m) based on 16mmboe (40% of 40mmboe), with none of the above factored in by the market. Upside NAV is $70bn compared with present $1bn. Would NewCo offer $2bn? Yes, I`d say so. Divide by 2bn shares = $1. | dr rosso
04/7/2015 10:18 | Cammy - I personally don't see Havoc reversing into Sirius. H are broader than Sirius and were established to take an interest in multiple projects/assets. 100m warrants ensure a big eventual pay day for them. $191k is ultimately small change compared to this. The 'change of control' clause is perhaps an interesting one to throw in. Sooner than later? From purely reading recent RNSs I get the sense that there is a crescendo of action with a lot of housekeeping and share shuffling conducted (the 2x former directors recently opting for shares as opposed to long overdue deferred salary is another big clue). Talk about farm-in, significant block and JV gives a welcome insight that (in my belief), we must be pretty close to a transformational deal and some long awaited asset revelations. I tie this all in with my own personal research and conclude that we certainly won't be a £10m mcap company for much longer! | sherl0ck
04/7/2015 10:08 | Sherlock Page 32 (c) Can you see Havoc reversing into Sirius and announcing a significant deal at the same time? This leeks the most likely thus giving Stein and Taylor an Ophir Type Vehicle to do it all again. I detect - 1. Suspension 2. Large deal secured3. 3. Havoc reverses in Looking at the fine detail in the accounts it all points to some corporate action sooner than we think | cammy3
04/7/2015 09:56 | So what do peeps think what'll to SRSP & its sp?...is it basket case or does it have a future? and if yes, its good when will things happen? | 113mike |
