the thing is you can't trust a word this lot says.

If we make money, great, but we are totally in their hands and the disdain for the PI from them is clear. They must be having a right laugh after the latest RNS!

Have heard we're near the finishing line for three years.....who knows, guess we are three years nearer, assuming we do indeed reach some sort of 'finishing line'.

Wouldn't be too bad if we've have had steady share price appreciation but who knows where the share price will be if/when 'finishing line' is finally crossed.

Still, its better than buying a lottery ticket(i hope), so I'm in!

Who says we are near the finish line Bronislav - I'd say we are three/four years away - this is a very long term share.

a bit of positive for a change....Seplat pays $132.2m for 1800 barrels a day.

dated Feb 15th 2015
But Dow Jones reported yesterday that SEPLAT would pay $132.2 million for its 22.50 per cent interest in OML 55
Current gross production at OML 55 is 8,000 barrels of oil per day.

Plenty of negatives and rumours of doom and gloom as we near the finish line.....after two or more years of rumours of next month ,after results ,before Christmas predictions ,and nothing materialises ,we now have the opposite .....hang onto those golden tickets guys .

With options, warrants, extra bonus options, we'll be looking at a final figure of 2bn.

If they pull another stunt like that I would be scared for mine and my family's safety if I was them! Can they really be that greedy!! Let's hope the good docs right and funding will not involve another trick like this one!!!

I seem to have missed that bit. Think I'll pass on the opp to move in on their new phosphate venture. When SRSP blows, take the money and run.

I agree with you on this post.

And don't forget all the free fun and enjoyment that we have had from being invested in srsp.

And minimised the dilution by cutting back from the 709m due to be issued. So yes, enhanced shareholder value and protected the interests of us existing holders. Majority stakeholders, as in Animal Farm, where we are all equal, but some are more equal than others. The funders will get their bungs via Calvet, but sshh on that.
Win-win-win, provided that there's any oil of course. Vip shares always needed to be in place ahead of breaking news.

Not necessarily devious Dr. Maybe just doing what is required to be done to create shareholder value. I don't know for sure what is going to happen to those 300mill shares therefore I cannot judge.

Let's just hope this devious bunch really does sit on substantial oil and does indeed anticipate final sell-off at a decent price. Talk about lining pockets, that £1.5m CL from Calvet puts Corvus in control of where those new 330m are destined to go. Split between Ajami and funding friends for investment services rendered? Read carefully to discover that shares are secured by Calvet being able to force the full loan through, whether the Co. wants the cash or not!
" At their discretion, Calvet may deliver any undrawn amount of the Loan to the Company and convert any outstanding amounts due to them at the Conversion Price."

Kej/Juniper also filled boots ahead of event.

Was anyone here under illusion that they wouldn't pull a stunt to increase their % stake?

the company can have 3 cheers from me when they deliver value to shareholders - you know, the sort of value that is reflected in a higher share price perhaps...

330m shares collared buys a nice batch of brown envelopes for distribution. Expect to see straight debt from lenders at project level, and a little extra for their trouble.

Take comfort from the fact that top table is trying to grab as many shares as they possibly can.

" Dr Rosso 9 May'15 - 09:46 - 3291

The unscrupulous puppeteer seemingly was leaking info (Spencer, broker reports, contacts) to encourage unsuspecting pis, including F13, FWC, to buy in whilst he was offloading round figure sums at 2p. Dump 60m to pocket £1.5m, then use the cash to buy back 330m at 0.45p via CL. Ingenious. "

...... Any Ideas who is this "unscrupulous puppeteer" ....... wouldn't be surprised if he's also using various bulletin boards to "talk up" the stock and attract unsuspecting PI's to unload their wallets ?

... It would want to be someone that's on 24/7 ...... promising the share price going to the moon ... and with some inside information that adds credibility to their claims ....
