24/10/2019 08:17 | 2 bagger now for me. | volsung
23/10/2019 18:35 | This just never stops going up..wow | gersemi
23/10/2019 13:20 | And what might perhaps justify (to an acquiring institution) building the position fairly quickly, despite the risk of pushing the price up, is just the market cap differential between SLN and ARWR. From a short's perspective, the recent pace of price rise plus the risk of a further licensing deal on (e.g.) Lp(a) must make holding on to the position fairly scary I would have thought. | 1gw
23/10/2019 13:11 | I think in the big private holders here (Ali, Griffiths, Keith, Quested) you've got a lot of shares that probably aren't for sale at these prices. Certainly Ali's tweets would suggest he sees a lot more upside potential I think. Lombard Odier and Soc Gen I don't know, they might be more willing to take profit (if Soc Gen isn't actually holding for one of the privates). And there just aren't any other 3%+ institutions are there? (I don't count spreadex.) So if one or more institutions saw the MNK rns and decided they wanted to build a position, they might just have to accumulate in the market - driving the price up as they go to tempt out sellers. The other thing I did wonder is if we've got a bit of a short-squeeze. Shares on loan (sept average) were over 2m iirc from euroclear data. | 1gw
23/10/2019 12:42 | Mmmmhhh!!! Starting to get a little serious right now. Who'd have thought indeed. VGLA | ukeagle2aus
23/10/2019 11:16 | Be nice to have £3 as support. Who'd have thunk it a mere few months ago? | volsung
23/10/2019 09:14 | Could somebody please enlighten me with the position with index funds etc and when and if they will be forced to start purchasing shares because of our market cap growth. Thanks in advance | partner
22/10/2019 12:33 | You can't beat a quiet board.if it gets crowded every idiot in the world will Begin screaming and shouting. Many ADVFNMembers are not interested in underlying Stocks. All they want is to vent their anger Anonymously.Regardin | wantage
22/10/2019 08:39 | 1gw it feels surreal, but I am checking for red or blue every evening (my time) right now and so far I'm getting a little boost in the past week or so. The gap in the market cap versus similar competitors, potential (but realistic) earnings potential from the deal this year and a reasonable pipeline and IR back at the top gives me a lot of renewed hope that we're early in the journey still. IMHO | ukeagle2aus
22/10/2019 08:26 | I am surprised how quiet this board has been this year (apart from the flurry around the MNK announcement) given what's happened to the shareprice. Still a bit under the radar? | 1gw
21/10/2019 12:23 | Those fibs line up perfectly with prior peaks - potentially explosive movement Supply squeeze on the OBV - dyor | luckymouse
21/10/2019 08:57 | Cheers 1gw A bit to go then | volsung
21/10/2019 08:42 | SLN is something under $0.3bn (£207m) DRNA is $1.1bn ARWR is $3.4bn All according to Yahoo! Finance. | 1gw
21/10/2019 08:39 | Whats the market cap now? | volsung
21/10/2019 08:38 | Looks like more of the same at the start of the week at least. When I feel nervous about the weight in my portfolio that this has become, and the vertiginous rise, I draw some comfort from the statement the CEO made just over a year ago. We're still a long way from the $1bn market cap that I think he was probably making reference to. Makes you wonder why the shareprice trigger in that options rns was so low! -------------------- 1gw 4 Oct '18 - 17:14 - 47594 of 48020 Edit 0 0 0 "Billion plus"? Did anyone else listen to the CEO's presentation at Cantor Fitzgerald? Right at the end there's a bullish comment something like: "So that's why companies like Arrowhead, like Dicerna, are ramping up to the billion plus, and I think we'll not be far behind...simply because people see value, they see safety etc and they see a validated class in the pharmacopeia." | 1gw
18/10/2019 16:36 | 256p UT. Heck of a week, heck of a day. | 1gw
18/10/2019 15:04 | Arrowhead shareprice back on a tear as well, having recovered from the recent pull back. They have an R&D day today which must be going down well. | 1gw
18/10/2019 14:22 | Hopefully 240p now support | volsung
18/10/2019 14:06 | Let's not get ahead of ourselves here! At 630p even I would likely be in profit after roughly 15 years! Wouldn't that be nice (for me) | ukeagle2aus
18/10/2019 11:33 | Is that the logjam at 240p broken? | 1gw
18/10/2019 09:24 | 630p sounds good to me!!!! | stuart14
18/10/2019 09:04 | There's resistance at 245p from the old high from a year ago. If it can close above that there's huge upside. 630p would only be the first target! The science will be the answer. | horneblower
18/10/2019 08:54 | That's a lot of volume going through at 240p. Looks to me like someone has been buying steadily over the last couple of days as supply has become available with the move up. | 1gw
18/10/2019 04:58 | I knew someone would have to break the silence (pardon me)9 days of action and it was surreal to see no activity on the BB. I suppose we are all intrigued to see which way this one will swing from here? GLA | ukeagle2aus |
