"Silence Therapeutics said that an Investigational New Drug/Clinical Trials Application for SLN360 is anticipated to be filed in the second half of 2020.

In a note to clients, analysts at ‘house’ broker Peel Hunt said: “We see this as a positive step for the company as new management focus much more on the building the pipeline – adding this to the Silence’s asset for beta-thalassemia and myelodysplastic syndrome (SLN124).”

They added: “We continue to review our valuation methodology following resolution of the recent litigation but this asset will add NPV to the portfolio/platform on a risk-adjusted basis.”

In mid-morning trading, Silence Therapeutics’ shares were 0.7% higher at 55.20p"

As long as it's proportional. Still take some hope that a deal is going on in the background, especially given the ex CEO purchase at higher price but I've never particularly likes the company as it's proven a serial disappointment. At least it's funded so that's OK.

Not me. I won't chase it down further, rarely sensible (despite a small buy today my holding is only about 0.5% of PF).

Whenever I look at the stocks that have completely bombed, I always ask myself, afterwards, why I didn't sell when it was just 15%/20% down? Wish I had a consistent answer to that one,

Well that was a punt that's gone wrong, so far. Just clinging on in the hope that either the Quark results are good or a buyer appears, but the share price doesn't suggest it after the media rumours.
