Just spoke to Credit Suisse and they say they are keeping the book at £4.30 and said that their offer was valid through the LSE I then told them that a sale was showing for £5.00 on ADVFN so we will see if they up the price, I doubt anyone will take the £4.30 now a higher bid is on the table.

STOCK EXCHANGE NOTICE

SIBIR ENERGY PLC - (ISIN GB00B04M0Q71)

1.
The Exchange notes the announcement made today by Credit Suisse (Europe) Ltd that Credit Suisse International (LSE non-member) has launched a "fixed price reverse accelerated book build to purchase shares in Sibir Energy plc at 430p on behalf of TNK-BP".

2.
That notice correctly states that members firms of the Exchange are prohibited from trading shares whilst suspended. However, as a result of requests received from member firms the Exchange confirms that member firms may in this instance participate in the above "accelerated book build", on an OTC basis, in order that they are not unduly disadvantaged relative to non-member firms. This exemption applies to this security only for participation in the above "accelerated book build", for which the price has been announced. No trade reports should be submitted for any such trades.

3.
For any queries on this notice please contact Nick Bayley (020 7797 4214) (STX 34214)

the difference between the £5-00 offer and the one made by Credit Suisse is that this one doesn't bar LSE member firms from selling stock on behalf of clients.
