16/10/2008 13:50 | hmm what was that guy saying before? about this great bulletproof share ? | len16
16/10/2008 13:34 | Perhaps - as a shareholder Sibir would consider buying my house - happy to sell it at a price less than its full market value from earlier this year! Why didn't Sibir just pay full year and interim dividends if Mr T was short of cash? No wonder they are delaying listing on the FTSE - they wouldn't which Sector to list in!! | stevest2
16/10/2008 13:30 | its probably bought a bank, hahahahaha. Feel the banking pain. Take those toxic assets right in the juggular. | len16
16/10/2008 13:28 | 200p and the company is buying hotels in Moscow? Can't detect a strategy here, seems like a panic bailout of Mr T to me. Which means the share price has further to fall. What happens when he has to sell his SBE shares in a hurry? | kibes
16/10/2008 13:23 | Did I read this right? Oil company buying a hotel. | miamisteve
16/10/2008 12:44 | SUB 200P here we come...... | davidwilkin
16/10/2008 12:40 | timber! mr T was in trouble and SBE have paid over the odds for these assets, that imho is my intrepretation of the carnage with the share price Poor show, SBE being used to bail him out. | banj
16/10/2008 12:26 | Its the OXMAN - 16 Oct'08 - 12:30 - 1718 of 1718 wow, 250p - is this justifiable in any way? interesting question, perhaps if you are a shareholder you should discount in the probability of getting a discounted weekend away at the Sovetskaya | velvetide
16/10/2008 12:23 | Well that news went down like a lead balloon. | banj
16/10/2008 11:30 | wow, 250p - is this justifiable in any way? | its the oxman
16/10/2008 09:34 | Well it looks as if Mr Cameron and his fellow directors have taken the low values in Russia (and the rest of the world ) to add to the assets of SBE. I must admit I had not thought that none oil investments would be made but having been an investor in SBE for 7 years I'm happy to accept the Boards recommendation. | davron8
15/10/2008 20:37 | Very few buyers out there, and even fewer with an appetite for risk. Which Sibir is. Personally I believe a white knight will pick these shares up for a song. | mxds
15/10/2008 11:41 | Russian Market RTS suspended for an hour today due to being more than 5% down at time of suspension - back up and running now. | alwaysbanking
15/10/2008 11:16 | Doesnt looks like much of an offload. Probably just general sentiment i think, a fiver (as was) is an expensive share these days. | len16
15/10/2008 10:30 | I don't understand this share - Shareholders have been offloading (not many at a profit) some at considerable losses - Is there some bad news around, other than RECORD production, RECORD revenues and SHELL wanting shares rather than a 50/50 joint venture arrangement. Am I missing something. | alwaysbanking
14/10/2008 15:49 | Does anyone know if the distressed seller has now offloaded the residual 750K of its shares as some large transactions went through today at some rather large prices. I somehow dont think they were buys as the share price capitulated following them. | alwaysbanking
14/10/2008 07:10 | Well what a mover - just like watching Michael Jackson. lol | alwaysbanking
13/10/2008 13:58 | Due a Tick UP imminently | alwaysbanking
13/10/2008 07:04 | well lets hope for a better week. 5% UP ON OPENING | pablo1969
10/10/2008 12:15 | dont matter to me coco me ole mucker, i dont invest much in owt cos its now a mugs game at the current time, i binned these lads off at 10p loss per share, didnt have many of them anyway. Been quite a few years since i dealt any shares, remember last time id broken about even after a year, but that was in a bear market so didnt do too badly and got a few good adrenaline rushes through the year. Its a very poor way to make money if you ask me. Even morally its really quite appalling, at least bank robbers have to put some actual work into their plan. | len16
10/10/2008 11:54 | well len its just not going your way today is it son | coco
10/10/2008 11:27 | what you have to ask is what would SBE make at $60/bbl | yf23_1 |
