26/6/2008 13:05 | So, holding 700p on a triple-top ( v. slightly falling ) support? Nice, as it keeps it in this year's uptrend from 450p - almost forgot they were that cheap not so long ago..... Monthly record prod figs, MOGC & retail assets will keep that trend. Add in prospects etc & I won't sell these! | ![]() napoleon 14th

20/6/2008 17:49 | Out too soon far better than late but I know how you must have felt. My worst sin is hanging on too long hoping for a recovery as in TAN and RCG. The problem is knowing when a stock is overbought temporarily or radically for the long term. Its the big money that rules in SBE so the PIs have negligible effect and hopefully the funds will stay in with new drilling and production records broken every few weeks I would like to think this will keep around or return to these levels if results and forward statements look good. But will they be as good..anyone got a take on this??? | a3477681
20/6/2008 15:43 | Dec 07 Results should be before the end of June so possibly 26/7th. The DL consensus gives a revenue of 844.24 m with EPS +110% at 35.26 and P/E 20.5. It would be great to hear from some of the well informed contributors on this board what results they are expecting. I wonder if the booming Russian economy and huge hike in oil price has been fed into the forecasts yet. The legal / political horizon for SBE, dare I say it, appears to be more settled. Its strange how quiet the board seems to be now that so many have sold up and are jumping into HAWK, RIFT MOG etc when SBE now shows signs of pushing ahead....or will it do another of its nose dives. I have held though all the ups and downs since May 05 although it does get tempting to hit the button sometimes! | a3477681
19/6/2008 14:06 | there is never much volume in trades as this is tightly held but somebody seems to be trading it up and down relentlessly. IMO there will be good news on KOLTOGORSKY as HC intimated confidence in it in recent news. good potential for substantial upgrade in reserves plus downstream activities should support share price at these levels. | curt3
19/6/2008 11:22 | no woories fella. :-) | leeson31
19/6/2008 11:20 | thanks for that leeson.looks like theres enough oil to keep pushing up. | ![]() barongboy
19/6/2008 11:16 | black lines are support lines, but id really like to see the share price keep above the red line! if not then 700p and 650p are next support points she can be ver volatile old sibir, and has a habit of tryin large spikes to kick stops out etc... | leeson31
19/6/2008 11:13 | that pushed it along a bit more leeson :) where do the charts tke us from here ? | ![]() barongboy
19/6/2008 08:34 | LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Sibir Energy Plc. said crude oil production rate at its Salym fields in Western Siberia has now exceeded 125,000 barrels per day (bopd). The Salym fields are operated by Salym Petroleum Development NV (SPD), Sibir's 50:50 joint venture with Shell. The production rate brings Sibir's 50 percent share of production to over 62,500 bopd, the company said. This combined with Sibir subsidiary, Magma, at the Yuzhnoye fields in western Siberia, Sibir's total daily production now exceeds 69,000 bopd. | leeson31

18/6/2008 17:14 | heres my chart view. free stock charts from www.advfn.com i sold when the share price was in between the two red lines, just above 500p when the share price was in a sideways trading range.. now its broken out of that range, i would envisage the breakout to at least hold, before further upside.... so it is looking rather good now that the sideways trading range has been broken out of. cheers | leeson31
18/6/2008 17:10 | hi. yeah, i think the rise is in regards to Koltogorsky . most likey, the next phase of the share price withh be driven by this.. i would add i hold only 500 shs now, so im not so worried if it does go well or goes bad, like i would have been if i still had 20,000 shs.. i keep close watch tho. :-) cheers. | leeson31 |
