09/9/2008 14:05 | you guys dont get very excited about ups n' downs do you. | len16
09/9/2008 11:29 | SBE's website still says the half year results will be published by 20 September. Remember that when the annual report was published we were told there will be a dividend declaration at the same time. Also, there have been several statements that they intend to have a "robust" dividend policy. | dudleyk
09/9/2008 08:32 | just checked back over the last five years. Always between the 20th and 30th of september. Not brought for a few years missed the get out at £8, but at these levels and good results should see a positive upturn back towards £6 maybe £7, good luck | pablo1969
09/9/2008 08:24 | When are the results due? | pablo1969
08/9/2008 16:15 | No brainer imho. Alright Leeson :-)) | ![]() banj
05/9/2008 13:34 | so the market now sets the price 2% below 12 months ago against: oil price 50% higher, prduction 50% higher, MOGC dispute resolved, little political risk given shareholder profile.. main market listing later this year with a possibility of setting a unique 1st by going straight from Aim into Footsie.. now whilst i am not saying it should be back at £8+ certainly it should begin with a £6 or £7... I think that results will be exceptional. have added today | ![]() waggle
05/9/2008 09:27 | And our dispute with Gazprom is settled too. I've given up trying to work out the markets. Keep telling myself to walk away and come back at Christmas. Will do that now. Tata! | steveofsw19
05/9/2008 08:54 | Why the fall to nearly £5 - I should have got out at £8 plus. Bought them at £2.36 so will hold for another year or so or if it dips to £3 (which it wont). Anyone know any other reason than Political for this drop, I mean even BP have settled their differences with the Russian Government. | alwaysbanking
04/9/2008 16:30 | only if ya wife's watchin' :-) alright mate, :p | leeson31
04/9/2008 16:29 | Nice bottom today, so to speak :-) Hope I don't live to regret that one! | ![]() banj
04/9/2008 10:15 | 550p would put it in good stead. provided the share price holds above that previous low point, then in the nxt few tarding session the share price should break out. i reckon it'l be about 550p when it does, about two trading sessions time. | leeson31
04/9/2008 10:12 | its starting to look very well timed your purchase yesterday at 512p steve. | leeson31
04/9/2008 10:01 | yes, entirely agree fella. cheers. | leeson31
04/9/2008 09:59 | Morning sir. Well i bow to your superior knowledge on all things chart wise Lees. Think the Russians expellling BP from a JV in Russia has market spooked for all things Russkie right now. But a blistering set of results here in a couple of weeks and greed will take over and that will all be forgotten and I see a run up to 620p. think we need oil back up to $120 to hit 700p. But I expect this to happen by November. Expecting good newsflow at Affers between now and year end also mate. S. | steveofsw19
04/9/2008 09:46 | morning Steve. Perhaps what we are seeing right now is a double bottom. the share price 'tested' its previous low, now we're rising a tad... if it is a double bottom, then break out would surely be next (above the downward trend line), then back to where it should be, above 700p + | leeson31
04/9/2008 09:44 | I very much doubt it, AB. In the reporting period we have had... Record production mulitplied by record oil price. Hmmm lets think what that equals? Interims at my other holdings, Petrofac and Dana saw signifiacnt buying post results. I expect the same here. | steveofsw19
04/9/2008 09:35 | Interims due Sept 20 or so - maybe results not as good as expected. | alwaysbanking
03/9/2008 19:47 | mmmmm....interesting | davidwilkin
03/9/2008 11:50 | Steve , You keep buying , I'm right behind you . About 100p behind you the rate this is falling and the political climate ! I am a holder and I share your incredulity at the share price related to fundamentals . Par | ![]() par555
03/9/2008 11:45 | just holding off for a bit Steve ..... | leeson31
03/9/2008 11:35 | Need to get off the AIM, ASAP. Mkt cap sub £2bn now. Crazy for 70k bopd at $100 bbl. Do the math peoples! I've provided some support today at 512p. But where is everyone else? | steveofsw19
02/9/2008 13:52 | The cheapness has nothing to do with the price of oil - the reduction imho is in relation to the lack of co-operation between the Russians and the EU/Nato/USA alliance. Until Russia's intervention in Georgia is politically sorted, the non russian business will suffer. | alwaysbanking
02/9/2008 13:48 | This is as cheap as chips now.We are exceeding 130,000 bpd and the share price languishes at this level.I am hoping that it stays around this price until my funds from IEC comes through, then I will further invest in this little beauty. | ![]() squintyflinty
02/9/2008 13:26 | no but all oil stocks on the way down you might find end of september a pick up again. | ![]() thumper1 |
