If you think it is cheap but some more. The price now and any drop is irrelevant unless you are selling or buying. The only thing that matters is future cash flow and that we will not know for a year or two.

Now we sit back and wait with our feet up. Nothing to really think about until we get a progress update. Been fun. Going to get a lot more fun. Luckily I am already considerably in the blue and that is a comfortable place to be thinking three years from now. Five bagged by then? Most likely. Just my view.

Early morning here in lovely Italy. A thought struck me last night that I have been mulling over.

Covid19 might make upselling Accrufer a lot easier. The last place that vulnerable people will want to go for the next few years is a hospital, clinic or even a home IV visit. Much safer to take oral medicine.

Does that make sense?

going to the hospital for IV...which ones would you do?

Wait till August or September. Enjoy the summer. STX is finally after all these years selling. What's not to like?

Toffeeman.....nature of the market.

I was astounded that the price did not rise in the logical way I looked at it as I had calculate free cash flows, variance analysis on their sales levels and worked out it was money for nothing (get your chicks for free).

I was not surprised because the market is irrational and behaves in ways that my slightly aspergers mind does not. It seems that most investors do not like reading detailed reports and are happy to make a profit and move on.

So....you can be astounded but knowing that people do not think like you, not be surprised. Just like ENET today. Down 12%. Is that bad...no it is great. It is massively undervalued because it is so complex and investors want their profits now or they stamp their feet. I now buy ENET.

Anyway...end of my little explanation. There is no logic short term in the market and never try to find it. I look at free cash flow two to five years in the future. What happens on the way is for the birds.

STX. ITX. AGL. ENET. BMN. All five are the future*




*subject to Known unknowns and if it goes wrong blame ohojim.

we ain't going anywhere until the placing investors aren't done cashing in that much has become clear this last week or so.. regardless of the prospects and potential

we'd probably be more highly valued if they de-listed here and went full on stateside..

exec summary:

- mighty impressive CEO - very confident and "sounded business savvy"
- no waffle or BS
- He knows what they've got and seems genuinely excited by the opportunity
- he knows the market place
- he knows who the target market is (patients perspective)
- he know the prescription writers are the focus
- got the initial sales force on the case
- looking to add to the sales team early 2022
- all supplies in the system ready for shipping

all in all pretty darn good albeit a little rushed

real risk, imho, is STX getting taken out at low valuation now everything is in place.. wouldn't be surprised if this was a yank takeover given the market and team running the show..

purely hypothetical but would be interesting to know how many would take 100-125p today vs. holding on for a bigger payday say 2 years down the line..

PATT - previously STX has stated accrufer will be priced similar to IV but without all the add on costs. However, clearly it is not that simple as the number of IV a person needs will depend on their iron levels and how quickly it is absorbed - the average is about 3 sessions. The other thing with IV is that top ups may be needed e.g. every 3 months. Again this will vary per person.
Below is a quick link to an iron clinic - they charge £570 per session so 3 sessions would be £1,700. About $2,500. 4 months of Accrufer is $2k and 6 months is $3k. So there is your comparison. I think the USP for Accrufer is it's simplicity. No pre tests , no hospital visits, no monitoring etc. BTW i'm not having a pop but your 1 month comparison is just wrong. When H2H studies were undertaken with IV Accrufer was c75% as effective after 12 weeks but comparable after 24 weeks (this was an unfair study for STX as patients could have as many IV top ups as required, so to get that close after 12 weeks is still a positive).
