Looks like AOP fully covered their pre-raise position and then added another 3%. Previously they had around 10.5% (c. 11m shares) and now own 13.13% (28m), so invested 0.3 x 17m, or c. £5.1m in the raise of £29m. Pretty big vote of confidence in complete contrast to the VC that has been diluted by nearly 50% and must be seriously underwater on their investment now...

It appears there is strong demand for the shares so yes I can see it touching 60p in the short term.

Is that % pre-placing? From Shields website it looks like Inventages own 25.95%

A good look st the shareholders register here shows Inventages own 47% of shares here . They are a subsidiary of Nestle . Interesting!

I applied for excess shares (over and above my allocation) but only got fraction of my request. They returned my money. Must have been a lot of demand. I think STX will be taken over this year, much less than I initially thought. Perhaps £1.20-£1.50, a pure guess. Makes sense for the lead IV provider to buy it out. It will complement their existing offering for a small change. I don't think BOD and big shareholders will be too unhappy as they have all filled their boots in the recent placement. A win/win but I know most small PI's will lose out (including myself) who bought in the past 6-12 months. Such is life, we move on. All this just speculation on my part, but we will see.
