A back test of 120p wouldn't be a surprise before turning up again.

Bit of fun next week imo - everyone likes a good trading statement but they like them more if they can buy on a dip. Sadly I think this dip will be gone for those hoping to do that next week.

The chart target and recent broker targets agree for once.

This is just reacting to the wider market, a lot of stocks down today like yesterday. Nothing has changed here, would like to top up if I can before the news - not sure if funds will allow. Good luck all.

Cracking dip to buy ahead of that statement here I bet.

Funny how those that couldn't get enough a few days ago suddenly chage because the market chages short term. There will be a rush to buy at some point before that statement imo.

I thought we'd have a few rests on the way up. Big climb of late - but nothing has changed so keep holding.

Best chance to buy before the trading statement in a week's time I'd guess.

Amazing how the puners go whoosey on one weak day - they'll be chasing the rally as soon as they grow their gonads back imo.

Not doing much today....still think we are on to a re-rating following trading update tho!

"Brewins:

Scott Wilson is a leading global multi-disciplinary consultant which we believe is being fundamentally undervalued by the market. In our view the April 2010 P/E of 6.5x in no way reflects the quality/industry standing of the business, its diversity (better illustrated by the new reporting structure), exposure to the emerging markets infrastructure investment boom, and a market position which we believe would be very attractive to overseas predators. Following recent contract awards which have taken order book visibility to above historical levels, we increase our 12m target price to 207p (Dec 10 EV/EBITA 7.9x, PER ex pensions 11.7x) from 125p and add Scott Wilson to our Conviction Buy list."

Hi Greenroom! I am up 75% having ben alerted to them in an article by Edmund Jackson. It was my subsequent analysis of the numbers that really fired me up. I am not in a hurry to move on given the yield and Government public spending on road rail and climate change over the next two years at least. I plan to consider top slicing North of £3.

Next resistance is around 172p .... after breaking the 120p barrier the ta looks good and is backed up by solid fundamentals.

Onwards and upwards and thanks to SCSW for pointing them out.

think 150 too low ... 190-200 y/e seems more plausible & any market pullback (in Nov now maybe?) just a great top-up opportuity here. AGK results today show how o/seas is going great guns for uk co's at present .. certainly case in my co. .. low £ helping no end

maybe one more day being held down before next move up but it is constantly looking strong on L2. bit of stock being recycled at the mo but also looks like plenty of pi's still picking it up ... combination of recovering from lows + new growth eastwards in infrastructure sectors is quite compelling

Hi ridicule - This is the best performing share in my current portfolio up almost 50% since my in. I have revised my target 3 times so far and now don't know where to put it. I started with 120p upped it to 135p now at 150p but I feel that is still too low. Happy to hold into 2010 but may look to take profits before then if it looks like it has run out of legs. It will be interesting to see where we are come news day on 29th.

Greenroom. Put another way, it is difficult to see what will hold this share back!

First, there are only 73m shares in issue.
Second, turnover has accelerated from 186m in 2006 to 346m in 2009.
Third, the PE is under 13.
Fourth, the dividend yield is 3.54% and covered 2.23 times.
Fifth, retained profit is 6.66p per share with a staggering cash generation per share of 14.22p.
Last, the historic high, when the company was less developed than now, was 338p on 9th May 2007.

DYOR, but need I say more! The facts speak for thenselves.

Are they really that short of stock? We could rocket if we hold tight and don't sell out. Yesterday intraday the share price moved a lot on very small AT trades, be prepared for a shake or two over then next few days.

Don't suppose anybody has L2?
