fair point trader, but it was oversold then and still on an EV/EBITDA ratio that is nonsense IMO! Likewise our CEO says the same enough times when asked...>! Fingers Xd....

I have been watching the trades over the last few weeks. I would have to say I have been dealing on the stock market for many years and I still don't know exactly what goes on.The buying volume over the the last weeks has been excellent, this would indicate that there must be a large seller in the background because the share price is not exactly flying but who knows. The company did a few presentations to institutions a while back and the old cynic in me thought that some how they were able to pick up a fair few shares at sensible money but that really shouldn't be possible unless there is excess stock available.Shanta is for some reason a very slow burner even when you think it should be flying. There must be lots of sellers as well as buyers I guess. As I have mentioned before, although gold is doing very well it is not going to really benifit Shanta until the hedge is cleared and debt is cleared.I would have to say I personally see very few opportunities that I few comfortable enough to invest a reasonable amount of money in without to much concern and Shanta are one of them.I could be wrong but I think 2020 should be a good year.

QS99 gold is only 1.6% away from $1600, and up over 1% today $1600 is pretty much nailed in coming days/weeks

I'm not seeing much evidence of selling today so far. Just a few hundred thousand.

Looking at level 2 the Market Makers are continually messing about with the bid & offer.
With normal supply and demand we should be much higher today but that wouldn't allow the Market Makers to make their money !

Hard to figure here . Little rise with much buying and gold flying . We could have a big seller

agreed. Nice moves / RNS this am on SRB....HUM is my other golder which IMO is very heavily operationally leveraged to the increasing POG

My experience is the market can't see beyond the end of its nose.4 months is a very long time on the stock market

I get the hedge, but surely market can see beyond that as POG approaches $1,600? Strange old stock, but hopefully 2020 will be the year of change!

Shanta is not gold price driven at the moment purley because of the size of the forward hedge but they will be sometime after May this year. Its more than possible the company could pay at least a 1p dividend per share this year which is currently a 10% yield.I am hoping for the share price to move up to the 18-20p range before the end of the year.
