24/7/2018 19:39 | Exactly, really good news often leads to a sustained rise in share price especially on AIM. | quemaster
24/7/2018 17:00 | It would be nice for the waiver to drop. Would be hold on that news, hold for 120p! | general george
24/7/2018 14:45 | Technically it'd be nice to see a run up to circa 75+, if so this might very well become buy on rumour sell on news. | rathean
23/7/2018 12:12 | Escrow is a formality though. Waiver is conditional to the completion of the deal. | fardels bear
23/7/2018 11:50 | FB. I think the waiver will be forthcoming once the escrow arrangements are in place. Maybe rns will detail both | general george
23/7/2018 11:35 | Oil rising faster now.. | fardels bear
23/7/2018 11:33 | They need the waiver first. | fardels bear
23/7/2018 11:27 | Come on Serica. Lets have some details of this escrow scheme...... Not long til Sept. | general george

23/7/2018 06:05 | Soon...all your worries will be over..... | sawney
23/7/2018 01:24 | Trump is just worried about the effect of high gasoline prices during the US driving season and the knock on for the upcoming mid-term elections, whilst, at the same time sabre rattling and wrapping himself in the flag to impress the red necks. Could all go pear shaped because he has no idea of the consequences for his bull in a china shop antics. What's the betting he tries to flood the market by releasing part of the strategic petroleum reserve next. Already, Saudi has found over-producing has resulted in being left with unsold stocks. | steelwatch
22/7/2018 22:58 | From what I read the US seems to be toning down the retoric somewhat. Personally I think this has to do with Saudi and Yemen and the Iranians supplying arms. The nuclear deal has been used as an excuse imho. I think the US needs to soften, their economy is in a precarious place. These Iran sanctions could really see oil spike and not help. I expect a favourable outcome for Serica, | general george
22/7/2018 22:25 | This may not help SQZ right now but worth being aware of: "According to a report in The Wall Street Journal on July 16, three European states, namely France, Germany and the UK plan to activate bank accounts or activate old accounts for the Iranian Central Bank in spite of US sanctions. If that happens, it will be a concrete pushback by these European states against the US decision on the Iran nuclear deal." | bountyhunter
22/7/2018 16:49 | Great post. Tks for sharing. | general george
22/7/2018 12:55 | No doesnt change anything, just stating we have a different situation, so if anyone gets one......we should... Hopefully news soon! | general george
22/7/2018 09:17 | I don't think that South Korea requesting an oil from Iran import waiver changes anything - fortunately we are not seeking a waiver to import oil from Iran, just an essential UK gas supply from our own territorial waters for which the Iranian half of profits could be again held in an escrow account if necessary as previously. Regarding the EU it may work in our favour that Trump will be aware that our association there is tenuous going forwards and the UK will be looking to make independent trade arrangements with the US wherever possible. Maybe Boris could put in a word :-$ | bountyhunter
22/7/2018 08:49 | More pressure for waivers. BP/Serica hopefully have the best arguement of anyone for a waiver regarding Rhum. Imagine the press if the field was shutdown and 200 people lost their jobs. Many more affected indirectly and all the tax receipts lost. Not to mention 5% and possibly 10% of the UK gas gone. Its clear, if its shut in, it will be decommissioned. I trust the UK GOVERNMENT are heavily involved here. | general george
20/7/2018 13:35 | Cheers steel - much appreciated. Maybe this is reason for recent share price 'strength'? | dunderheed
20/7/2018 13:29 | that's good news | bountyhunter
20/7/2018 13:23 | Seven Pelican has arrived over the Lomond to CATS Riser Platform pipeline approx 12 Kn north of the Lomond Platform to commence the work program outlined previously (see #8150). I make it three days early. The pipe layer Seven Navica is currently berthed at Leith and should arrive to commence activities around 27 July. | steelwatch
20/7/2018 12:01 | I think there is a big dollar de-value coming somewhere along the line.... | general george
20/7/2018 11:45 | Wonder what would happen if China called in the US debt.. The U.S. debt to China is $1.18 trillion as of May 2018. That's 19 percent of the $6.2 trillion in Treasury bills, notes, and bonds held by foreign countries. The rest of the $21 trillion national debt is owned by either the American people or by the U.S. government itself. | fardels bear |
