Serica should bid and buy Touchstone this week!!!!

The next Touchstone update will be interesting, taken over Trinity and looks to be in a position of having a few decent assets in Trinidad and Tobago and share price seems down on its knees like everything else. Something along they lines could transform Serica with the financial muscle to develop the assets?

Only a few of the above have performed well, e.g. AXL, PTAL, WEN, ZPHR.

AXL is a bit of a rarity with very few other winners around in the O&G sector over the last couple of years.
(AXL is towards the end)..

Or maybe Arriw exploration as bounty hunter says you might as well pick a winner!

Accepting the KIST paper offer would only have helped KIST shareholders.

Fandagie- SQZ is now in a better position to acquire maybe 2 out of these 4 companies, or buy one and merge with another one?
From - Enquest / Harbour / Ithaca / Harbour.
Me personally I would acquire Enquest at 25p a share bid, they also have 15% cash assets. Then merge with or buyout Harbour??

And to think the BOD & shareholders rejected the KISTOS offer of over £4 a share recently, regrets, I suppose we all have those, greed is terrible thing.

There isn't any problem with liquidity that a move to main market would improve. If you look at the trades you will see two types: O, ordinary investors and AT, other market participants. These others can be imvestment companies, hedge funds, spread betting companies and anybody else with direct market access placing orders on the book. This isn't quote driven where your only option is via a market maker. What's driving the price is pure sentiment, more sellers than buyers. Politics is driving the sentiment we'll all be travelling in electric buses powered by windmills to our poorly heated by heatpump homes. Lots of jobs changing everything to net zero installing the necessary made in Denmark or somewhere else harware. No more industry here.

1.38 is way too low for the assets this co holds. 2 pounds fair value

A lot more of people won't touch AIM stocks. Also a lot of institutional investors.Given the appallingly low market cap of this company compared to its earnings and other fundamentals, I think a move to the main market would see an instant and dramatic increase in share price.

Looks to be election jitters today. I'm assuming a Labour victory is baked in but with AIM you can never tell the reaction on the day. Sooner serica push for a main market listing the better, I've no doubt the share price will jump purely on that alone as some people just won't touch AIM stocks.

Arrow Exploration would be a decent acquisition, may as well pick a winner.

After the incredible deal Tailwind engineered for SQZ I'm at least confident there's little chance they will overpay for a further acquisition!

SP Angel today:-Serica Energy (SQZ LN) 137p, Market Cap £536m: War chest for growthSerica announced an increase in the borrowing base from $463m up to the full committed amount of $525m on its reserve-based lending (RBL) facility, which reflects higher reserves and recent hedging put in place. The Company now has liquidity of over £500m following this semi-annual RBL redetermination, which supports delivery on the two-pronged strategy of investing in assets and executing on attractive M&A opportunities. Serica shares have lost 40% YTD23 in line with a deterioration in market sentiment towards UK-focused E&Ps, which are still waiting for confirmation of the potential oil and gas fiscal changes by a Labour government if successful. However, Serica's strong balance sheet provides material firepower to fund further M&A and sector consolidation to add scale and boost access to capital, though fiscal uncertainty makes cash-based deals more difficult than relative value trades, with cash resources currently more likely to be redeployed out of the UK.We think Serica's strategy has changed following the merger with Tailwind last year and entrance of Mercuria as a 25% strategic shareholder, which has made the new management team more comfortable investing in larger and more long-term development projects to make use of EPL offsets for new investments.

Harbour are up about 50% off their lows since they announced their acquisition so looking for £2+ for starters when we find something.

The key is they diversify outside of the UK footprint as that is what will turn the tide on the recent decline
