Hi tightfist,

Thanks for that, certainly looks achievable and does seem like a good position we are coming to.

Of course, the 6 targets they have to identify a pit (in addition to the resource upgrades that are still in progress at Palito and Sao Chico?) could - and indeed hopefully should - put the cat amongst the pigeons with a bit of luck. Not sure when the first targets are being drilled on the pit front but I'm certainly hopeful for that.

Following Cotton's post #4289, here are the latest Stockopedia SRB forecasts upgraded since 15th September: (£/$ = 1.36). 2021fy. 2022fy.Revenue ($m): 65.9. 80.3eg Possible calc: 36.6k@$1,800. 44.6k@$1,800Revenue (£m). 48.5. 59.0eps ($): 17.1. 25.6eps (p): 12.6. 18.8Prosp. PE ratio @ 73p: 5.84. 3.90PEG: 0.12. 0.34.Now they have to deliver! On that basis IMHO we should see at least 150p, in 18 months time, delivering a minimum PE of 8. Plus anticipated value of Coringa production and any other further expansion plans. As ever, DYOR! tightfist

Just looking at this share it is beginning to feel like this is the start of something good here. Starting to build a bit of momentum at least for the moment and generally things looking up imo.

Hows this relate to SRB

£1.75 represents a PE of 12 on current operations excluding Coringha and any exploration finds. So imo a bit conservative but of course they still have to deliver

I like this bit from the RNS…..

“Mr Tavares will report directly to Mike Hodgson CEO of Serabi and have responsibility for the ongoing operations because Mike Hodgson is too lazy to go to Brazil himself”

Oooh, just possibly...

Probably the right guy to blame if they weren't going to accept any responsibility themselves, but even so this 'nothing to do with me guv' attitude of 'The Board', as if they didn't have fiduciary responsibilities for thefts that went on for over FIVE YEARS is farcical. They know that little people like us don't matter, but it's a disgrace.

"The Board has elected to discontinue the position of COO at this time..."

Yeah, I'll bet.

Thanks for sharing that paleje. Quite possible that caused a bit of the action yesterday (despite it being a rather wooly article invho!).

Interesting RNS this morning. Wonder if this is linked to the you-know-what...

ii had an article on them yesterday might have stirred some interest, especially the Peel Hunt potential 175p.

Haha! Bet you're a right laugh at parties ;-)

I haven't actually tried buying or selling any of mine for a while but seeing this recent move upward on seemingly no (reported) trades does make me wonder if the market makers here are asleep at the wheel again. Anyway at least some volume pickup - it used to wind me up no end when I was trying to buy and just couldn't get a quote- does make you wonder sometimes!

Yes, the trading guesswork can be part of the fun - occasionally! Whichever way you look at it, SRB does seem to be firming-up.

Mystery solved!

Have never been too big a fan of the share price movements here. Definitely a lot of guesswork needs to go into it.

Managed to sell a tranche today at 73p with a bid/offer spread of 72 / 73 ? Bid then popped back to 70.

Hiya tightfist,

I'd say the 73p trades were buys and if I was a betting man I'd guess there is something to be published later.

I can't see what market makers are providing the bid/ask but could be that one was just fishing briefly at 72p. But either way volumes and direction seem to be firming up here which can only really be a good thing.

Looks like a delayed sell

Do you reckon those 73p transactions are Sells or Buys - or maybe there is substantial Sell to be announced as a delayed trade later?

Looking more promising here for a retest of 75p. Not before time either - remember when it dropped through how irritated I was!

Hi BiB; Likewise, I have more than enough SRB shares. We surely need some new ears (and fresh money) to arrive; that will take some time and hopefully they have a PR plan for the months ahead, to capitalise on new-news items. IMO Director Buys are just part of laying the groundwork..Cheers, tightfist

It may not be based on unpublished price sensitive information. There have been several upbeat RNS's over the year clouded by the accounts fiasco. Visible gold, upgrade in power infrastructure, royalties have all been mentioned. Now might be a good time to buy.

Cotton, Director dealings based on possession of unpublished price sensitive information is illegal......
CL needs to go imho...the fact that he is still in position is a major concern for me ...not only because I don't think he's up to the task... but it also calls into question MH's judgement....aimho

Hi Cotton,.Do we have to be careful not to over-think the directors' share purchases? Shareholders need to see evidence that SRB/investors are following a remedial journey and two meaningful purchases by the two executive directors is a quick way of initiating action?.Just a thought. Cheers, tightfist
