What scale of resource would this indicate?

What would please you? 8,000 would be good but its a large increase on Q3.

The deal with the major will only come if there is an opportunity to employ open pit mining. If we get an update that indicates this then we will be laughing.

I don't think Qtr1 2021 will be as high as 10K. They have already called out that a restoration of former levels will begin Qtr 2.

The major central anomaly is too large for Serabi to develop if it is a gold find. A farm in there would make a lot of sense...

What deal with a major? We could be generating US$100M FCF by 2023. Whatever we own / find why share it.

Don't think that'll be a problem - as you say its stubborn. Seems that all the moves take a while coming but when it starts it does continue to re-rate.

In this upcoming 6m I'm expecting the below to transpire:

During q1, production levels should increase to around 10k+ and grow to nearer 12.5k per quarter. Q4 2020 we know to be around the 8k mark.

Multiple resource upgrades for both Sao Chico and Palito, as well as news of further gold finds. Am hoping and to be honest expecting Sao Doningos to link up with Sao Chico and a correspondingly large resource upgrade to follow. Then I am expecting a further plant to be put at Sao Chico... results from the exploration at Calico should prove up some gold finds there in late q1/q2.

I'm actually also hoping for a deal of some kind with a major...

This is a stubborn stock. It'll rocket when the positive news flows. I think the rise from 100p to 130p will be very quick.

I agree Boris, they have been drilling a lot of step-outs at Sao chico, sounds like a lot of soil geochemistry has been going on, as well as the drill rigs moving all over the place. So many targets but then do they wait to get a full resource update or announce on ad-hoc basis? Not sure, but either way I agree there is a lot coming down the pipe.

The way I read that presentation, they've made a discovery. I'm hoping for news any second!!

It is pretty quiet, but then its been that way for a long time. I still feel that the consolidation of a couple of years back (2018?) was perhaps a mistake.

Either way, although quiet i like this co primarily as it has all the potential upside of the exploration Co's but without a lot of the risk I perceive in non-revenue generating companies. I've been here probably longer than I should admit, but I'm getting a far better return than in the bank and I feel I'm unlikely to lose my investment here. So it suits my investment profile in terms of risk.

Looking forward to coringa and the exploration/resource updates coming through as that should really get us motoring. That and the fact I think gold will see a decent rise this year - I'd be disappointed if it isn't closer to $3k by the end of the year.

So quiet on this board. Still not widely known in the investor community.

Bitcoin stealing golds thunder at the moment. A consideration I did not take on board before a few months ago.

Understand your reservations about forced redemptions, but they hold a lot of far more liquid/MC stocks they could call-on first..PoG outlook may be a bigger concern - they held ~8% gold miners last April - I expect it is increased since then, but it's been a funny 9 months.....

Hiya Tightfist, happy new year to you! Apologies, our messages crossed.

Yes, seems to be a pretty decent fund - I sometimes go through fund termsheets to get ideas for investments that aren't so tinpot - helps to identify aim shares that aren't just hot air sometimes. I wonder what their charges are after that 22% increase! Just do it yourself ha.

Hope you had a good break and all the best for 2021!

To a degree! Nice to have them on board but as we've seen with a few of the larger holders of Serabi over the years, fund management isn't what it used to be!

Lots of redemptions could affect their investment, view on gold price, etc etc. Nice to have them on board as it is with both Fratelli and Greenstone, but think its not a prerequisite!

Liquidity is continuing to climb here which is also very nice to see.

Hi PPVN, thanks for that. Interesting - SRB now constitute about 1.9% of the R&M RMUSCA fund which is awarded a good 4 Crowns management rating by FE (ie 75-90%'ile assessment). We even warranted an SRB call-out on P40 of the manager's report!.Taking a look through their holdings there are a lot of high-potential companies - fund is up 22% over 12 months. Not shabby! One for consideration....

Ok, thanks. It's a big vote of confidence though! I'd not like to hear they are bailing out. It's a great positive they hold as they target high returns.

Not in this instance Bojo, they hold the shares in the ES River and Mercantile
UK Equity Smaller Companies Fund - so its directly R&M that control the investment.

Aren't R+M brokers so that 8% are held on behalf of PIs? Probably wealthy PIs that don't trade too much but still "retail".

Fratelli have 32% and Greenstone currently 25% (could be slightly more if they elect to convert their bonds). River & Mercantile have about 8% so would mean around 35% are float. Of course, not all of those would be traded frequently...

What percentage is retail? Seems around 35% in the presentation. I thought it was much less.

Happy New Year everyone! Think this year should shape up rather nicely here, about time some quality stocks such as this catch a break. Bit fed up that 2020 was the year of the tinpot "miners" but with a fair wind we could really see some traction here.

This seems invisible to the wider market. News please. Why not even issue the presentation as an RNS!!

They should announce the discovery at Sao Domingo's. They are hitting gold - it's a matter of how much. They could make the announcement ahead of any resource estimate. They mentioned it in the presentation which is now official news to the market - odd. Surely it requires an RNS?
