I think the cash and FCF for Q3 forecast will exceed expectations.

The Friday RNS to hide bad news is a myth anyway.

Apologies - you are correct - looked at LSE not Serabi Website.

2019, 2018, 2017 results on 14th. 2016 results on 12th because 14th was a Sunday...

True for 2019, not 2018, but fair to point out.

That is one side of the coin the other is that it is a well known fact that if a RNS is poor it is put out on a Friday whereas if good then earlier in the week.

Of course this may not be the case here and it would not look great for the Finance Director (not sure if he was meant to give the RNS release date - unusual). Lets discuss Friday but I am playing it cautious - only my thoughts

The Finance chap suggested a positive update, so can't then issue a poor one 5 days later.

From LSE : Full update and guidance RNS from Serabi will be out 14 Aug (Friday) accoring to Clive Line Finance Director Serabi Gold SRB.

A very good interview, worth listening

My immediate thought is a Friday release is rarely good! Trading.

From the director change RNS on 27th April, re Luis Azevedo:.".....His expertise and experience will be invaluable going forward, and helping the Company successfully see Coringa into production.....".I just wonder if there is little more to this licensing topic - maybe I am overthinking - maybe it's just continuing COVID-related delays. tightfist

Exactly - production ramping up, license coming, exploration to recommence followed by resource estimates. In 2 years it will be producing 100,000 ounces and will have proved up a massive discovery. 500p.

Also, there's no excitement about the exploration because it's stopped hence no mega news coming out the blue. The exploration so far suggests the potential could blow the exciting resources hence NAV through the roof - 10-100 fold. No updates imminent though, hence the speculative buck is elsewhere.

...but when license approval comes the value will be immediately added, regardless that the purchase isn't completed. It's legally in place, not executed and funds lined up. The price should double and when more positive news arrives re Covid the value related to Palito will add 50-100%. If say Palito 150p, Coringa license plus 75p.

Kinda agreed but if Coringa isn't priced in, we should have an equivalent or greater increase on Palito alone. I'd say it's more Covid related.

Over the last three months, PoG is up 17% whilst SRB (which conventionally should be geared) is up just 8% so something(s) seems to be holding SRB back! We exchanged views on what it could be the other day, but my hunch is that the licence is significant. tightfist

In summary I don't know the likelihood of approval or rejection.

MH seems positive and it's similar to Palito so technically or environmentally should be favourable, no idea about the locals or political. Reports from the public hearing, squeezed in before Covid, sounded positive. It has to be good for the local economy & employment which is particularly important now
