It's not hard to see why people get fed up and move on when a share price behaves like this in a strongly rising sector and without any logical explanation. All I can say is it's often the day you sell and move on that a cracking RNS comes soon after and sends it sky high:)

Borrowed from Polaris on the AAZ board
I thought you might like this Trader365 had a short appearance on AAZ before being laughed off. His comment below was at the start of lockdown when AAZ was 90p. Its now over 170p. Its all in his charts...lol

His post 6965 - Gold is overbought, expect a pullback. If you'd bought gold then you'd have just had a 100 dollar rise since then. Trader### is a contrarian indicator, he's a total amateur, doesn't understand his own charts.

Brasso3 .. that’s how I see it .. new investors buying the more “solid” and dividend paying stocks will then start looking for bargains / risk shares as the price moves up and away from them .. such as CEY . SRB is likely to attract attention before long but as Boris is desperate to hear ... we need that RNS on the license ... plus a successful vaccine in Brazil would be welcome .

I think if you monitor around 20 gold miners on the LSE you will see that they do not all go up together on a given day. Traders are clearly moving between them. I would not be surprised to see SRB and HUM outperform the rest tomorrow.

Relax, isn't this just a small pull-back which will likely validate a new Support level! Only snag is that it was on high volume.,...

He's got nothing better to do unfortunately and although being very unwelcome here, it's his only safe place.

?

I only bought a few, and only because you posted your chart in 6831. It has since risen 10% or so, in a week. As usual, you're the perfect contrarian indicator.

The share price really does make little sense at the moment. But I've had other shares before where I've thought that and they have come good eventually. Its just the wait that gets a bit tedious and I don't really get why these aren't higher right now.

I wouldn't worry - the one he put up on the old thread the day before the results, which indicated a downwards move (in his interpretation) preceded a 10p rise...

Everything flying except this old dog. The old resistance is back, its going to be a tough one to break with the covid cases rapidly accelerating in Brazil, very frustrating for holders.....

KS, totally agree, easy in hindsight! But prudence is paramount, they got ahead of the game on funding and, with PoG advancing they have quickly negotiated an extension to the potential CLN issues which is a Win-Win-win as far as I am concerned. Not convinced about the desirability if a dividend any time soon.Sherry, be very careful what you wish for! A new (fresh?) director - where does that desire come from? The way they have handled the 2020 challenges (and beforehand) looks pretty exemplary to me. IIRC they brought in a Brasilian and US experienced COO about 18 months ago..Cheers, tightfist

Gold at 2060 and still down. Got it completely wrong thought we would hit £1 today. Apologies

That's fair enough. I'm just frustrated that money in gold would have out performed. That should've be the case for a junior mine in production. The gains & drops are geared.

I just view the CLNs as one of those necessary evils required for expansion. In hindsight it could all have been done without the CLNs, but we could not forecast this rise in gold price. There is always an associated cost of capital in expanding a busines; whether debt or equity - and if expansion was all done organically through cash flow only then the 'cost' is time, potentially, the speed of expansion and thus time value of £ now vs £ later.

I have done a small top-up today as am targeting £3+ in the next couple of years.

SRB has great prospects in terms of production ramp up, resource exploration, potential buyout - and longer terms, dividends. If Greenstone want to offload a bit for short-term profits I'm not too fussed as this will take off sooner or later imo.

Our money ain't earning. Greenstone dumping stock at 20% mark up from CLN. The directors get share options - I don't mind that based on quality on the operations side but this CLN keeping the price down ain't on for retail punters. Needs to finish and true value realised.

The ask price dropping all the time. I'd say Greenstone dumping. This isn't on for PI investors. They should offer a dividend as we need this to be a growth stock otherwise.
