Just seen on Twitter - either fake news - or our Travel Restriction clause isn't going away anytime soon?"Pres Trump issues order to bar foreigners from entry to the US if they have been in Brazil during previous 14-days. The order is meant to reduce spread of Coronavirus from Brazil, where the number of infections have topped 310,000, the 3rd highest number in the world" tightfist

BJH - You brought up important points on cost savings during a production shutdown. Once the Sprott debt is paid off, what is SRB's cash and salable gold inventory position starting July 1st 2020? How many months could SRB survive with the operation shutdown?

Given what we know so far about COVID19, I believe long term shutdown of the SRB mining operations is remote. I would hope the management team has a reserve worker pool to address attrition.

Brazil is now one of the epicentres of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The still almost-exponentially-increasing number of cases has, however, not been enough to convince Jair Bolsonaro to establish any sort of federal social distancing policy.

Because of the federal nature of the country, state governors and mayors in Brazil have been able to organise isolation for certain regions. However, the majority of public money is controlled by the federal government, which means full lockdown has been particularly difficult to introduce.

Amongst the worst affected states are Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo (the first affected places, where the virus was introduced in high society gatherings, attended by rich people who had recently returned from Europe), and Ceará, Amazonas and Pernambuco, in the north and north-east of Brazil — poorer states where the health system collapsed much quicker and mass graves are dug to keep up with the mortality.

Following the collapse of the health system in Amazonas, the northern states of Maranhão, Amapá and Pará have been the first to declare a lockdown, and other states such as São Paulo are considering it.

I don’t have a crystal ball, I simply follow price direction and trail a stop, at the moment direction is down. Guessing where it will change direction is for clowns like you

That’s the end of the retrace. Next rise will clear resistance and take us over 100p mark. Long overdue”

My chart doesn’t agree with you. One swallow does not make a summer. SRB will go lower in the short term

I agree with your last point, if you take measures/exclude those with specific pre-existing conditions. But we are (investing) Risk fanatics used to looking for pre-cursors - its interesting to observe different sections of UK society grappling with the ultimate unseen Risk.....I continue to be intrigued at the scale/shape of the hospital case curve for London versus those for the rest of the UK; population density, mobility and compliance surely have a large part to play. Lumping together statistics for a Rio Favela and Para Palito seems unhelpful, at least to me..Meanwhile, reconciling UK prudence and the Brasilian gung-ho attitude(?) is a specifically Serabi challenge!.Take care, tightfist

13% of Brazilian population are in rural areas vs 20% in US. I suspect the rate of increase of infections in Brazil will be steeper, which we are seeing now. Regardless of lower incomes and access to quality healthcare, I suspect the fatality rates will prove to be significantly lower, due to high levels of obesity and diabetes in the US.

Are you mad - parties? They are lethal, resulting in almost certain death - alcohol poisoning, stabbings, falling off balconies, chocking on an olive and of course being murdered by the illegal immigrant Uber driver on the way home. He won't go to a party as the survival rate is so low. Brazil still way lower than most of the highest infected nations, in terms of per capita. With 200m people its a couple of weeks off it's peak. Nonetheless it will have a totally negligible affect on healthy people under 65, like everywhere else.

Clown they are merely school boy indicators to be used in combination with risk and money management strategies to ensure one does not end up in a council flat with a fat ole moose like you have.

An AIM share reacts to news . Charts can show whatever you like in hindsight and it’s interesting that not once have you indicated these buys and sells at the time. Which makes you a fraud in my view. Stick your charts up your ladyboys rectum . 🤡 to 🐭
