I sort of wish they had not put a date on it and maybe just said q3... fact is they did and we are all expecting it imminently now... hopefully tomorrow but I would be surprised if it's released on a Friday... | littlepuppi7

05/9/2019 14:06 | Agreed Boris but if it is good then this just serves to unsettle and gives whomever a buying opportunity . Fingers crossed now . | kennyp52

05/9/2019 08:41 | Big drop. I'd imagine delayed sale | borisjohnsonshair
05/9/2019 08:17 | I am hoping PEA is very good and they are giving their pals a bit of time to buy in and dragging their heels ? Could be potentially explosive when finally released but whilst they dither the share price will yo-yo IMO ... and 10 minutes later there is goes ! 82 .... delay is not good in the market , it is very often interpreted as negative news . | kennyp52
05/9/2019 08:12 | Would love to know who! | littlepuppi7
05/9/2019 07:41 | Littlepuppi7 Money and Markets had observed a large bank was in real danger, no names. Gary Savage was sure that a big bank was caught out shorting big time. Reintroduction of gold standard would mega boost gold too. Funds are learning slowly about the relic! | edjge2
05/9/2019 07:19 | Us and China have scheduled trade talks for October.. djia getting a sugar rush. The trade talks always hit or lift the price of gold which I understand to a point but for me we are about to head into an unprecedented money printing era. Qe wave 4 will be huge imo and I think they will edge us if not tip us into a debt jubilee type event as I see this as the only way out for western governments. When that happens the price of gold will be multiples of today's level... that is the real price driver here. I also suspect we are going to see a major bank blow up soon... I suspect it's going to be db, but could well be triggered by a smaller one going down. Again that will see a flood of money into gold.. and finally pension funds are seriously under invested in gold. Some very interesting models of what happens if just 5 percent of managed funds moves into the gold stuff.. all in all gold is a hodl all day long.. | littlepuppi7
05/9/2019 07:01 | Hi PPVN,Agree with everything you have said. Regarding Coringa & Ore Sorter we can be reasonably confident IMO - topped-off for the time being with strong gold sentiment/PoG and weak BRL. So far, so good..Regarding exploring, at the AGM I sensed some intrigue about the ongoing artisanal alluvial operations which are around 2km downstream from some anomalies; I posted regarding this at the time and the associated quip from the Chairman..(Well remembered regarding the rumoured low grade potential pit operation. That was distant and speculated to be unattractive with a high Capex requirement)..Hopefu | tightfist
04/9/2019 22:11 | I didn't say it was higher, I said it was a new 52 week high | littlepuppi7
04/9/2019 21:34 | Littlepuppi7 that's 85 offer at current exchange rates, so lower than here. | cinoib
04/9/2019 21:08 | He he. Sorry Sherry, could not help noting it looking so perky. On the other topic, is this an explorer, a producer etc.. Its a hybrid.. Its the best of both... As others have said, the problem with explorers is the cost of getting the initial mine / cashflow moving, once that heavy lift i accomplished and assuming its profitable and therefore FCF positive then the share is materially de risked. I love the risk reward profile here, and I love the fact I still think its largely undiscovered and I love the fact its a bit of both... I think many here though are underestimating just how much gold we could be sitting on here.... I think its going to be significantly higher than we currently expect. | littlepuppi7
04/9/2019 20:58 | Hey tightfist, good evening to you! I've been burnt by "explorer hype" in the past too and I agree, not worth the investment in most cases! It's the way Serabi are transitioning that makes them so exciting imo; I still think they are looking for the big one (as in a pit of some description, or a huge lode deposit). As a producer, yes they are well on the path to some really good profits - but I figure that's really because of the gold price having risen and BRL having dropped so dramatically! Coringa really did bridge the gap and I do concede that once it's up and running they are more a (vastly) profitable producer, but I still think there is to be a discovery of some magnitude to come. I'm rather hoping they find their elusive pit deposit. We know cindarella is a shear so it can't be a pit; but they are focusing on the western anomalies first. You said a while back you thought they were looking to acquire a pit - the western anomalies have the potential for that I think? Anyway I guess it isn't really important. Serabi certainly are a producer but however you value them they are deep in discount anyway! | ppvn |
