Hi Cotton,

Thanks for your immediate overview. Need to listen to the webcast and interpret - not really what I was looking for at Sao Chico. It does sound to be a very tricky resource to mine effectively?

Cheers, tightfist

Negatives:
Delay in determining Sao Chico resource.
Debt repayment delayed until early 2016.
More capital expenditure.
Lower yields

Positives.
Best quarter yet and generating cash flow
Exceptional grades.
M&A oportunities

From the webcast, I particularly like "let the figures do the talking", due in next 2 weeks.

check out JLP and WRES next week.

platinum is making huge recovery since last week and JLP got the RNS intraday on Friday and not many would have seen it.

both platinum player AQP and LMI have surged strongly last week. JLP, as a low cost platinum producer, not yet recover and will hopefully start to make recovery next week. Furthermore, AQP platinum got a takeover offer which now make many to believe JLP will soon get its takeover target/JV partner, potentially after mining licence is granted, which is expected in this month.

those interested can dyor on JLP and see the huge potential in there, with JLP sitting on $4bn worth of assets and mcap only 30m?

no wonder JLP was 30p a couple of years ago and now making the comeback.

another potential for multibag will be WRES, CEO target 3p with share price now only 0.6p

expecting rerating RNS in JLP and WRES anytime next week/this month

dyor

I think this now a Real story. The Real has depreciated some 60% since Dec'14.
This should impact favourably on operating costs, even if these are running at 10% due to inflation.

It's a bit quiet here - and from Mike Hodgson too.

The 3rd Quarter update should be 3-4 weeks away. Do I recall correctly that we due a statement on Sao Chico resources in Q3??

Hi Everyone,

No comment here yet about last Friday's Interims. I havn't taken a deep look yet; foremost in my mind is whether they can pay-down by December the Sprott loan from cashflow, or whether they are approaching deepwater?
Here is a link to the latest brr interview with Clive Line:

Also looking forward to seeing the updated resources statement for Sao Chico within six weeks and seeing the potential for mature grades at Sao Chico as development dilution is reduced.

Listening to a couple of analysis this morning one said he expects Gold to trade in a range of $1,050 to $1,300 for the year ahead with a low of $1,000.

Panmure Gordon are giving an average 2015 price of Gold of $1,160 and for 2016 $1,250. Aluminium, Copper and Nickel prices will all fall while Iron Ore will drop by at least another 30%. On the other hand Zinc will be the only industrial metal whose price will be stable.

On a side note, golds starting to fly again now, if we could see $1300 tested again, we are overdue a bear rally, unless we break out and start to move higher when every least expects it.

couldnt browse the article above but here it is again for anyone interested:

It looks really positive, although I don't like debt based growth, growth through acquisitions should be done with surplus cash, but if the opportunity's merit for the company it could mean exciting times are ahead but as long its not punitive to existing holders the way the sao chico deal was in regards to the issue of shares.

We should expect the financials on Friday, 14th August, as per previous years.

Capital raised in an issue of shares that exceeds the nominal value of the shares. The share premium account is recorded on the company's balance sheet and cannot be returned to shareholders as dividends.

SRB can only pay a dividend when a profit (and thus generate cash) is made thru' operations.
