I think any deal with a major relies on the results from Toucano.

Good posts bojo, with you in tightfist's camp 1!

Annoying we aren't testing new highs but I don't think it'll be too much longer. The exploration here could literally change the company overnight, as could a deal with a major (assuming that's still being worked on). Lots of cats in lots of bags thats what I like!

It's done this with 35% less personnel, built more socially distanced accommodation and set up a Covid testing & rotation system.

I'm in 1. Look back a year and list what they achieved during this horrific year. It's extremely impressive so no reason to be super confident they can get closer to the 100k in 2021 and be very successful in multiple locations with exploration. You have zero reason to lack confident unless you believe Covid should have had zero impact in mining, resources and even the environmental department of the government.

BJH, we all have to decide fundamentally whether (1) We trust them to deliver, or (2) We sense the need to micro-manage them. .I found myself in camp (2) at another goldie and five years later I have still gone backwards. My lesson learnt: If you find yourself in camp (2) think about relocating!.Cheers, tightfist

Hi Cotton; 13th November RNS included: "The Company hopes to be able to commence an initial drilling programme at Toucano prior to the end of 2020"MH mentioned on CRUX that they were already clearing Toucano access whilst he was on site recently. Hopefully we will hear of some further progress soon; as you mention, they were shortly to reassign a rig from elsewhere.. I have seen PPVN's thoughts about upping their game on awareness. I also hope that Mello was the start of a sustained promotion initiative..Cheers, tightfist

tightfist - I suggest you look at a satellite view in Google Map to see the artisanal activity near the PC. I mentioned a year or two back the pit like mining north of "5 – Sucuba" evident on Google Map. Around the same time I'm broadcasting "DRILL THE PERMITS".

What's the plan?

My view on this is that they will endeavour to up the profile and excitement of Serabi fwiw. Since management were granted their options its really aligned them with shareholders imo. So unless they want them to vest worthless it'll have lit a fire under them, as evidenced by their recent Mello presentation.

Only my view, but the days of quietly getting on with things are hopefully behind us - they can do with shouting from the rooftops every progression.

The drilling at Toucano will start when a drill is available from a previous exploration activity. So I would expect the results of that exploration before we hear about Toucano. Just an opinion.

I believe the last report said drilling would start immediately. I'm wondering when initial reports of finding will be received.

(Unlike some other goldies) I don't recall SRB historically making standalone announcements of the starts of exploration drilling's? However, Toucano (San Domingos) feels rather different, so maybe this time? One gets the sense of vast amounts of artisanal activity in this area - but presumably this has been confined to very shallow deposits - pits and alluvium?. Cheers, tightfist

I wonder when we start getting news of the drilling going on on the new areas. Next week? Mega expansions non stop for the first half of next year

Just an air of mistrust Boris .. once we clear that hurdle with a couple of decent RNS or presentations then hopefully we will start to see some more realistic value . POG on rise again so hopefully this will be a sustained rise into 2021. Good luck pal .

It wouldn't go amiss but the future is set in stone. Doesn't need a rocket scientist to know where the price will go. The question is just how low people want to buy in for. 84p today or 250p this time next year
