15/1/2021 21:29 | I'm still confident fwiw. The rationale here for me was a cash generative miner with incredible exploration potential and natural growth. Everything still looks good from that perspective to me... Whilst production hasn't been as great as it could have been, through the lens of 2020 being impacted so heavily by covid I don't think the 32k oz is bad - and since they obviously have a good relationship with Equinox that enabled them to pay Coringa off in installments, it really isn't that bad at all in the grand scheme of things. | ppvn
15/1/2021 15:47 | Yep more patience. Around 8% down year to year. Thankfully gold and the FX rate saved us more than any management action. Would rather it the other way around! As to the last words on the crux interview surely if MH believes there is good news in 2 weeks he is obliged to share it now if it impacts the company as it surely will. Bad day all round with Producer Price Index figures from US. Hmmm it goes on.....someone cheer me up. Might even join Sherry, move to brazil, stage a coup and run the company... | tiger60
15/1/2021 13:21 | seems a few in the know sold down a week or two ago! | chapv
15/1/2021 12:04 | Just a few thoughts from this morning - headline Q4 production was a tad disappointing, but otherwise (for the patient) I believe we can learn a lot..I accept it's not to everyone's taste (fluffery!?) but I find the transparency, operational detail (particularly re: development and resources from 06:00) and options debate within the CRUX video very insightful and full of leading-metrics in terms of planned expansion of activity throughout 2021. (IMO the brr video lost a lot but added little, except 20 minutes of your life). And the Ore Sorter performance measures take us back to where we were heading 11 months ago..We can look forward in ~two weeks to some good news from initial SC/SD exploration drilling and then spasmodically throughout the year. And returning the RoM ore feed to exceed process capacity, such that the OS can come back soon on-line..Open-pittin | tightfist
15/1/2021 10:44 | Don't forget the NAV increases by circa 100% when Coringa purchase completed in Q2 | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 10:08 | They'd not consider this until after Coringa at full steam if they are drowning in money. They'd not do a div and borrow for the mine development - wouldn't make sense. | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 09:44 | I just listened to the interview also. The fact they seem to be committing to expanding plant at either Palito or Sao Chico is most welcome; that can be the next project they can get their teeth into and should see them beyond 100k oz without any further discoveries (though I expect many). A 1p div only costs Serabi around £620k. If they are able to get three plants up and running, in years to come this could be very pleasing. | ppvn
15/1/2021 09:42 | BJ I have not watched the video - I have just read the RNS - Videos have a lesser weight than an RNS. Often puff and fluffery. Possibly a good test for MH - 2 weeks it is!! | ironstorm
15/1/2021 09:05 | But Boris management set the expectations - see November RNS and December presentation. Just to add the last few minutes of the interview is what gives investors hope. Really pleased how MH emphasised the point of getting his hands on an 'open pit' available resource and a move away from reliance on narrow vein, deep mining. That aligns with my hopes and will release huge value and engender market interest. | tiger60
15/1/2021 08:50 | US markets look ahead at future valuations and ignore the present. SRB get crucified for handling a horrible year remarkably well. Unrealistic expectations. | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 08:42 | Boris .. I think you may be papering the cracks . Production for December 2020 exceeded 3,000 ounces, the best monthly result since the end of April 2020.Total ore mined during the quarter of 46,275 tonnes at 5.24 grams per tonne ("g/t") of gold.43,440 tonnes of run of mine ("ROM") ore were processed through the plant from the combined Palito and Sao Chico orebodies, with an average grade of 5.27 g/t of gold, an improvement of 9% 2021 an “easy to do” forecast of 33k - 36k . It’s not good enough and this company seems to be in slumber mode to me . Not happy . Might just take profit . Might wait for this “discoveryR PRODUCE please | kennyp52
15/1/2021 08:42 | It sounds like he's confident of timing. Must be preparing the news now. | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 08:38 | Overall I am happy with this update, yes full production has been pushed back to to the second half of 2021 but I think they have been conservative with the production estimates between 33.000z and 36.000oz, so there is room for upgrade estimates later in the year. As long as any bumps in the road are minimal we should see 2020 as an abnormality. Might see some short term weakness in the share price due to the slightly lower Q4 production numbers which would give investors a chance to add a little lower. | interceptor2
15/1/2021 08:35 | Have you listened to the interview. 2 weeks clearly stated. | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 08:21 | My initial thoughts were disappointment, probably like most on here. However the one positive for me was the cash balances at the end of December given reduced sales and increased costs as described previously. Maybe, just maybe, MH will be able to overdeliver this year. 3,000 ounces in December is encouraging. I have still to listen to the Crux interview. Any discoveries will be key this quarter. I still feel the share price is low but we are some way from multiples. | cotton4
15/1/2021 08:19 | Maybe BJ but on past / recent form it won’t be a couple of weeks as you optimistically state. The RNS says “some weeks”. Past performance says some weeks is also equal to some months . . . A most frustrating share in view of the obvious value. MH is not a completer finisher. | ironstorm
15/1/2021 08:19 | Having produced 3k oz in December I'm hoping that the 2021 guidance has been set at the 33-36k oz mark to give Serabi a bit of flexibility in terms of how covid could impact the mine this year. Annualised thats the 36k level so let's hope that's a conservative number and we could surprise to the upside. Aside from the 2021 guidance there is a lot to like in the update (yes, the print version) - exploration continuing apace, no more CLNs drawn down, decent cash balances on hand and further progress with the Coringa licensing. | ppvn
15/1/2021 08:16 | T10 buys will see the price rocket with the discovery news | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 07:58 | This business could pay a dividend but it's not as it's investing in exploration & expansion. I'm happy for the income to be utilised in this way. 2 weeks time they have "good news". It's a discovery!!!!' Whys no one excited. | borisjohnsonshair
15/1/2021 07:53 | Funny how the interview is always great and the words in print aren’t. | tiger60
15/1/2021 07:48 | Great Crux interview. Discovery news expected in 2 weeks. | borisjohnsonshair |
