15/9/2019 12:37 | Because UK media is (understandably?) pre-occupied with two issues at home, both starting with the letter “B” ..... | tightfist
15/9/2019 12:19 | What is the matter with UK media, hardly reporting that Saudi have cut daily oil production by 5.7mln barrels after yesterdays drone attack. This could have a massive impact on the average UK citizen if this attack causes the price of oil to substantially rise. | loganair
15/9/2019 11:47 | Hi PPVN,I agree with all you say, but would particularly echo point (3). The ultra-conservative BoD at MML (narrow vein hard rock miner) have spent (ie IMO wasted) many millions in intense underground drilling trying to prove and increase LoM - some scout drilling seems prudent, but beyond that?MH is far more sensible! Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
15/9/2019 09:22 | Not sure I would fit your criteria for "expert" but here goes. 1. The 5% rate i would hazard a guess is applied due to preliminary conversations as to how they can achieve funding and the relatively low (Mike in his interview said that Palito was brought to production on $18mm) cost and near term (sub 2yr) development cost. They also generate cash so i guess they can use positive cashflow to reduce the need for full funding in debt or other. 2. In Brazil you need a lot of licenses to get to the point a full ML is granted. Sao Chico operates on an exploration license but I'd guess that's because they can mine 50k TPA- they are also applying for a full mining license there too. It just takes time and imo I'm comfortable but that's up to you! 3. Re. The LOM, hard rock deposits as Palito, Coringa and to an extent Sao Chico are, it's very expensive and time consuming to prove up resources. They have followed Palito over 4km and the resource remains open at length and depth so it's likely it'll last many decades. It's not proved though because that'll be really expensive to do and not really worth it since once they are underground they just follow the veins and it's easy to do. For an investor it is possibly a gamble but a fairly common one in hard rock deposits. | ppvn
15/9/2019 08:50 | I believe SRB could be US$1B business | borisjohnsonshair
15/9/2019 08:48 | 1 don't know 2 it's a formality with no expected issues or delays. Hopefully granted before the end of this year. Not an issue but will be a very nice to have. 3 almost certain to be many multiples of nine years. They've published the facts and associated life. Likely to not only be many many more years but also with increased output rate, which should / could also reduce AISC. It's possible Coringa could be 100,000 annual output for 20-30 years. | borisjohnsonshair
15/9/2019 08:46 | Hi Divmad,It will be interesting to see other's views on (1). .The PEA actually spans both 5% and 10% to provide an idea of sensitivity. What will be SRB's cost-of-capital? I am anticipating that at least half of their investment requirements (chiefly Coringa to full Production, and Drilling around SC?) can be organically-funded from cash & operations. .And what to do in an ongoing low interest environment? ALTN which is a far more questionable and geared proposition raised £17m at 6% last week!!.Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
15/9/2019 08:45 | That's not very good England!!!! | borisjohnsonshair
15/9/2019 08:44 | "Although "an" very educated" had to laugh - sorry. Especially as you were talking to yourself. | borisjohnsonshair
15/9/2019 07:32 | Questions for the experts here.1. Why does the PEA use an aggressively low 5% discount rate rather than a more typical 8-10% one for mining projects?2. When does the trial license at Coringa become a full ML? What's the issue with this?3. With reasonable success in the exploration front, what realistically could the LOM extend to for Palito and Coringa? This is important if analysts and investors are going to apply a PE multiple approach to future value. TIA. | divmad
14/9/2019 23:56 | Ps been enjoying s day out. In answer to your query. Although an very educated one. Of course it's another strong bull signal for gold. Anyone who thinks we are living in predictable times is an idiot. But the right people need to be long before they let gold go. That's the sad corrupt world we live in. If you go long gold. Take delivery. | littlepuppi7
14/9/2019 23:49 | Logan. Gold is proportionality ( for investment banks) a small market. It's being heavily manipulated and we need to be patient. Our moment is coming. You cannot go against the laws of physics. And finance try's to break all the rules. But they are just delaying the moment of reckoning. | littlepuppi7
14/9/2019 23:46 | Guys keep focus. We know this is worth multiples. Listen to the sensible ones. We are ahead of the curve here. We will make a fortune. Have a good weekend all. | littlepuppi7

13/9/2019 22:01 | In the next two years SRB say they need to spend $20mln to $25mln to get Coringa up and running. At the current price of gold SRB will most probably make around $16mln in profit over the next 2 years and currently have $12mln cash in the bank. | loganair
13/9/2019 21:18 | Hi - Mixed message here. Yes helicopter surveys suggest potential vast resources. Clearly funds will be needed if they do come good but a nice problem to have. | borisjohnsonshair
13/9/2019 19:51 | beware before selling I think we have another AAZ creeping up on us here. Presentation today with helisurvey points to high grade deposits so wonder how much cash they'll need for that? | edjge2
