Yes it was very quick. I see 1500 gold coming sooner than a lot think, there should then potentially be some consolidation. 1500 usd gold would be transformational for our good friend serabi as well :-)

Ha, was wondering how long that would take.

Well fingers crossed it can make the $1,400 stick after its consolidation move; then the real question becomes where will its next leg up reach?

Yep seen numerous sources that suggest he seems to be pivoting towards Europe.. sees them as an easier target now...

Trump Again Threatens The EU
"Advantage UK
I do not believe Trump caves as easily on this one as he did with China.

If so, the UK is the big beneficiary.

Purposely or not, the timing of this announcement adds to the increasingly likely odds of the UK getting a good Brexit Deal with the EU.

That would suit Trump just fine."

I too am bullish on the yellow stuff. If it can recapture $1400 today that'll be very positive, and to be honest I'm hoping it will.

As you say, this share is really about getting to 100k p.a. - if the POG is where I think it will be in 2021 that's going to be the real payoff.

In the meantime we can move 4.5% on £25k traded!

Gold is making a nice comeback today, I am very bullish on the exit price for gold this year.

SRB having a dip before hitting new recent highs IMO. People trying to trade in and out...

Loads of good stuff coming down the tracks

1. Corninga PEA - Another resource upgrade?
2. Final Coringa payment - hopefully out of cash in bank
3. Strong gold price
4. Cinderella Shear - could be a huge new play
5. Increase in incumbant resource - based on current step out drill results
6. Mortoring towards 100,000 ounce per annum producer..

All in around a 30m package...

Just keep buying the dips and hold those shares chaps.. Every time I make some money on a trade I am just grabbing a few more!

Mellon on the Markets: Gold and what comes next

"And that’s why gold is rising, not much yet, but a lot over the next three years or so. I really wouldn’t be surprised to see gold at US 5000 an oz in that time period, and I urge all readers to be positioned accordingly."

I think AAZ went ex dividend today so some of the fall will be due to that. The drop on SRB seems overdone.

Actually it went ex dividend last week, so ignore that.

I thought AAZ got hammered this a.m. but this keeps dropping whilst AAZ has stabalised a bit.

Blimey well this is some pullback. Disappointing but I guess it'll make for a more stable base going forward.

SRB has never traded with the price of gold. So, I for one would like to see SRB's share price follow the price of gold as gold moves north over the next 2 to 3 years.

Yesterday's Au spot price drop was predicted by Eric Sprott on June 27, 2019. Everyone knows that PMs are manipulated by JPM, Scotia M., Citi, etc. This is JPM's way of raiding ETFs when they dump Au into a falling Au spot price. With respect to yesterday's open, and subsequent beat down on the London open, to $1380 USD, a lot of COMEX paper was thrown at this on the open.

Nothing new to see here. Move along.

Just srb being volatile, it does move very easily. Think the pog drop spooked a few... gold will have a great year, just not having a great day!

Yes, I don't how long the (relative) liquidity will last, fundamentally SRB us still tightly held. I suppose PoG was done no favours by the sight last evening of MrDT stepping across the Korean DMZ and also acting friendly to MrXi..Suddenly the world has become all cuddly!

Was thinking its perhaps some of the more "bandwagon jumpers" fiddling about because of the drop in gold - because this share is so illiquid it's rather prone to outsize moves.

I much prefer when the moves are up, to be honest! Sure it'll come roaring back soon enough.

You wouldn't want to be trading this share especially as gold is rising and consolidating nicely twice now from 1280 to hard to predict if your lucky you could maximise 10% on your trade but could miss out on multiples instead
