Senior plc announces multi-year contract with Airbus

Senior plc ("Senior"), an international manufacturer of high technology components and systems, announced today that its Aerospace Division has won a new contract with Airbus as a Detail Part Partner. The contract, which will be worth approximately $40M, will commence in 2018 and is expected to be in full production by 2019. The scope of the contract is to provide medium-to-complex machine details and sub-assemblies to Airbus and its partner company STELIA Aerospace, on multiple programmes including A320, A330 and ATR. The work will be performed at Senior's world-class cost-competitive South East Asian facilities in Malaysia and Thailand.

Commenting on the award, Joe Mockus, Divisional CEO of Senior Aerospace Structures, said: "We are delighted to be awarded this important contract and excited to grow our relationship with Airbus as a direct supplier on several key programs.
