I am looking forward to an unprecedented rate of growth in our share price prior to a Mobile Eye type takeover -seems far fetched almost certainly us but I would be happy with half what they got

"Our business is experiencing an unprecedented rate of growth. We like most had to take a conservative stance on operating costs as the COVID issue consumed all and presented unbounded risk. Now, as the market recovers we have demand for special team members to compliment our world leading team of exceptional engineers. Do you want to work with purpose, do you want to participate in a global phenomenon. If your’e an exceptional software engineer, that wants to make a difference get in touch with SeeingMachines."

In fact the way it is now rising back it seems there is a panic as sellers realise the tide has turned for the short term trading, back into the 11's today is my guess

I am hoping this new Cenkos note will have stopped the wobble down to single figures and restart its upward adventure once again.

This poster holds shares in SM and didn't sell any on recent rises.

Since the ill fated fundraising @3p J have substantially increased my holding & reduced my average cost to below 4p per share -but for the first time I am considering averaging up my cost by buying more under 10p(should the opportunity continue to present )

A takeover at some point seems to be the consensus outcome & as much as I would love our share price to be over 20p right now I would hate a low ball bid to be accepted at 20-25p as I (along with many others) believe we will be worth so much more in a year or 2

Yes agree, four straight down days and a drop of 30%,
the market will now let you sell what you want as the
market will buy, yesterday was different.

I am expecting a move higher.

there is very interesting discussion in the note about the relevant mkt positions of SEE and Smart Eye. Including:

"A major OEM seems to be sourcing from Seeing Machines for 2nd Gen systems
We believe that one Smart Eye customer (German premium OEM 2 we believe is BMW), where there are currently production vehicles in the market with Smart Eye technology, is sourcing Seeing Machines for next generation of DMS. Therefore, we believe this OEM cannot be considered solely a Smart Eye customer.

The numerical margin is narrower, especially if we remove Chinese OEMs
If we remove Chinese OEMs (Seeing Machines is currently not pursuing this market as the per vehicle value is low, there are low barriers to entry and high IP risks) the Smart Eye win value drops to $186m and this compares to US$160m for Seeing Machines."

Cenkos have upped their valuation to 14.3p
"We continue to believe a DCF
valuation is the most appropriate as most near-term revenues are high value high
margin recurring, and value from the automotive sector will mostly be seen beyond
the explicit forecast period. Our updated DCF valuation of 14.3p is based on a 12%
discount rate which leaves room for significant upside as it delivers on expectations."

Morning all

With google entering the car technology space with ford, I expect
a round of consolidation to start, with this in mind I feel we
could be a target.

Holding for the long term on this one and really just ignoring the daily up and downs. We know this one is prone to shorters and Market manipulation. Unless they start to put out troubling news, I'm in. Good luck all

Fair enough tradermel - I don't read it that way but that is your prerogative.

The drop I see as a natural reaction to the rise from about 5p in a month.

Especially as it sinks in that the good news will not drive revenue or profit changes for at least 12 months - perhaps 24 for significant impact.

Lots of investors may not want to wait that long or may plan to re-enter later.

Others will be happy to ride the ups and downs in the meantime.

Best of luck to us all....

The next 6 months were always going to be the critical period..and the next update is where they will raise their forecasts...

Look where we’ve come from and then look forward, all the potential needs to come to reality.

Holding strong, buying below 10 if we get there, which I doubt we will

tadermel,

Fy21 ends on June 30th - in five months time.

All the excellent recent announcements relate to periods after that.

They point out the medium/longer term prospects.
They point put the current cash position underlying the company's financial position.
They point out the current year expectation.

As a trading statement it looks fine to me.

People bought the share price up on the back of those longer term announcements during January. On some BB's they were over-egged imho.

Some are probably taking up to 150% profits or realising the timeframes are for 2022 and 2023.

I cannot see any reason to disparage the company this time.
