Secure Income REIT Plc ("SIR") is a specialist UK REIT, investing in real estate assets that provide long term rental income with upwards only inflation protection.

On 11 May 2022, the boards of LXi REIT plc ("LXi") and the Company announced that they reached agreement on the terms and conditions of a recommended offer pursuant to which LXi will acquire the entire issued share capital of SIR (the "Merger"). The Merger is to be effected by means of a scheme of arrangement under Part 26 of the Companies Act. Details of the Merger are set out in a circular to shareholders that is to be posted to shareholders today and a summary of the proposals is set out in the announcement, which is available on the Company's website (www.SecureIncomeREIT.co.uk) and LXi's website (www.LXIREIT.com).
The Company is a UK REIT which floated on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in June 2014.
