I see that Dr. Pierre Eliet (EVP Corporate & Business Development, Country Chair Malaysia) at Seascape was one of the technical keynote speakers at the Asia Petroleum Geoscience Conference & Exhibition (APGCE) 2024 on 20-21 Nov 2024:
Inpex were one of the "gold elite" sponsors of that conference. The host of the conference was Petronas. Enquest were in the "Corporate Pool 2" sponsors.
I would expect Seascape's potential future deal partners in Malaysia to also be among the pool of sponsors/participants in that conference. |
Yes and with just a 22m gbp market cap it should rerate without too much imminent news |
I'm not averse to trading but given Seascapes current position (still materially undervalued on its recent deals) and ability to deliver another surprise (Petronas are bringing them ideas!) ..to my way of thinking its just not worth it . |
Also grabbed the last few at 34.99 |
Ahhhh Bingo Decided to put my theory to the test and buy another 20,000 |
It's a shame there's no direct mention of Seascape's ongoing farmout of Block 2A to Inpex. But I do like the following statement:
"...Other hotÂbeds in the region include [...] Petronas continued gas successes in Sarawak in Malaysia, where they seem to have broken the code on carbon diÂoxide distribution..."
One of the big advantages of Block 2A is it is outside the higher carbon dioxide distribution zone. Less carbon dioxide will make Block 2A cheaper to develop and will therefore have a more typical threshold for commerciality relative to those fields being developed in the higher CO2 zones. |
Right place at the right time.. |
Short lived drop Just too much demand for stock at present to keep it down |
Do not worry one bit Part of me is wanting it go lower so I can accumulate more. Certainly could double from here pretty quickly |
Well no Tr1's from the II placee's. I wish I had offloaded some last week! |
250k buy reported after hours last night Do not be fooled and let the market have your stock. |
Market seems keen to take stock Background buyer perhaps ? |
Always comes back to the placement price. |
Surely those shorts will have to be bought now again if it’s closed |
The short interest tracker on Research Tree now shows that the short interest on SEA changed back to zero. |
Some more PSCs being awarded by Petronas to various parties (not SEA this time).
"Looking ahead, Petronas is gearing up for MBR 2025, scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, offering significant opportunity for investors to explore Malaysia's upstream oil and gas potential."
Very good that SEA now has the available cash to pursue any such opportunities appearing in Malaysia's MBR 2025 round. |
eme , no thanks. their recent deal doesnt sit right with me. that company is a pure gamble imo |
EME has ten bagger potential too. Do some research. Institutional buyer increased today. |
No worries for me here as my average is well under 20p .I held Cove through the ups and downs walked away with a 10 bagger on my small investment there.Sea reminds me of Cove, the big price will be on 2A drill results in 2026 |
Nah, still have't sold a single share. Just telling it how it is. This is AIM, people buy the trade then sell on news. Now it's a waiting game. There will be drift, and I hope to buy more, but we all have time now, loads of time. |
I think you sold out and want back in cheaper. Just my opinion. Good luck to you |
looks like that new short position is in the money. |
A slow rise to 100p by this time next year will do. i hope the institutions who took small initial positions through the placing buy more in the market as JM also said in the q&a. for 2025, 1. 2A farm-out completion expected by end of q1 with the stamp of PETRONAS. 2, DEWA field development program 3, possibly a third project to be added. |
Yup - he'll likely do that but might as well wait until he needs to. |
Whether he exercises the share options now or in the future they will still only cost 23p and he can wait.
If he wants to increase his exposure and he believes the stock price has further to run then the right move for him is to buy additional shares in the market while they are still cheap. |
