You point out that
'only a complete fool would invest their life savings in SEA. It was always a very, very, risky, speculative, AIM share. At least a stop loss in place would have preserved most of their capital.
Agree 'only a complete fool' etc
But this was not a fool in any sense - it was someone who was led - encouraged and convinced - I might add by arguably foul means - to keep the investment current. And no prizes for guessing who was leading, encouraging and convincing. |

Very true, Resourceful. I lost a money gambling on OXS. I knew the risks. I gambled more than I originally intended because I got greedy. |
You forgot AGrazer bones !! |
Just hope this fiasco will prevent JAW, Berty etc from ever being in charge of anything of any value! Utter mismanagement and shambles. |
Resourceful , I really and truly couldn't give a toss and if you invested in them and are Happy with the directors efforts I am happy for you and if you were not an investor of sea i am even happier |
Jack, they had debts to pay, which would have been called in when they defaulted this month. Then Sea would have gone into receivership, and R2S sold for a fraction of what they got. Lucky they got what they got, it's about what I thought they would get if they were lucky, because these kinds of companies are all about the staff talent.
My other prediction was that the directors will walk into new jobs. Unless they were the 3 redundancies, JAW will be working for the new company. Or perhaps he will quietly keep all the future proceeds of the LOGP shares, should they not also go into administration, and realise value in the future.
Unfortunately , sea are well and truly bust, unable to keep the lights on. Not even sure if they fully pay off their debts, which is why anything from LOGP will never see the light of shareholders days. |
bones
If you could remove your vitriol for one moment, you would see that I didnt suggest shareholders would get anything back. My question was whether what the directors have done is legal. ie giving the main asset away prior to admin. |
yea yea they are responsible for dry holes collapse in the oil price death of AIM resource market |
It just happened that way for me rich, but believe it was meant to be, unlike what's happened here. |
angus17 you are right we were gamblers and we both understand that ....now :( and as resourceful say's blame ourselves....... but some blame has to go to those who drew wages , if its not said then they can feel justified for mixing with wee jimmy crankie and winning vases ! they are weazle's and I know that's doing weazle's a disjustice :( scum and if I were them I would hold my head in shame, when I work I like to leave each day knowing I have achieved and given something, had no one over and provided a good service, surely that's what it's about ! well it is for me. Stockriser I didn't think anyone else would have done that too, mine was by choice when it came to booking the date, it just seemed right, even though as I type I can't see the keyboard clearly ! all the best to you too |
we gambled each one could have sold at any time GFG...... Greed F....ing Greed blame yourself |
Jack i see your still clueless. That rns is the end . Your shares are worth nothing and sea is gone . I do find it amazing how many fail to listen and understand when its explained to them what was happening here . The whole investing game is rigged has been for years. Uk management are what you see here totally inept and drains on society. Certainly the majority i have witnessed with only a small number being exceptions . |
david CaMORON Like it! |
Rich, April 2012 I turned 51 and buried my dad on the same day, and I also hold a lot of shares here. I expect we are both experiencing the same gut wrenching feeling this morning. But as you say it comes nowhere near the feeling of losing a loved one.
All the best mate SR |
You could write to David Camoron or George Osborne
but nothing will happen |

my previous disasters also include: CAP, TRK, ZZZ, WHE, there are probably many more that I have scrubbed from my memory. Some of us are not destined to be good gamblers (investors). |
Is it not illegal to sell the main asset just prior to stuffing shareholders? |
administration as well !!! I do have some great birthday celebrations ! lol |
I guess they're leaving announcing the EGM date until it's as near as possible to said date so as to give shareholders as little time to organise any sort of concerted resistance as they can. |
