Well that's very true Ron! |
Stockriser - but it didn't state at all how much debt would be left outstanding. |
"Only pays the bills and nothing left after"
I think the RNS stated quite clearly what would be paid! |
R2s sold at a profit roflmao and the pigs are flying again. Sea overpaid by a big amount to start with, then ran it into the ground and oil prices collapsed. Now its barely alive and worth a fraction what they paid . My guess 2-3m if they are lucky . Only pays the bills and nothing left after. Wrap it up and call it a day why drag out the misery . |
So jaw and all the other directors have done a sterling job then :) they must be so pleased to hear that so many back all they have done over these past few years ....for the record I don't think that. Like it or not people were drawn in to these type of shares by all the chat that was banterered about, by directors and these boards too. Pap we understand about stop losses, but some people would have clung on to losses and hoped for a spike to get out or things to turn around, in this case the wrong idea .....but ultimately any retrospective advise given to others should also include a statement about the diabolical management, just to show those at the top that shareholders hold them ultimately at fault, I will withdraw my opinion if r2s is sold at a profit !!! obviously |
"I have knowledge of one who has been wiped- entirely. Lost the whole lot".
stmora1, only a complete fool would invest their life savings in SEA. It was always a very, very, risky, speculative, AIM share. At least a stop loss in place would have preserved most of their capital. |
There won't be anything left. Anyone who is going to take the business will need to invest in it as it will be loss making for a few years for oil to recover or have enough time to diversify.
The only thing that should happen now is that the business gets sold and the shares cancelled with the BoD resigning from the R2S business. Keeping a shell would result in fund raising just to pay for director fees and nothing more. |
Two weeks since the "exclusivity agreement" with the "preferred bidder" (can't WAIT to find out who that is) - supposedly to get them through May - and still no sign of an EGM.
We're at the end of May. What's going to get them through June? |
Keeping the company as a shell means all the losses are tax deductable on any new ventures. |
The only thing I would vote in favour of is a sale of the whole company. Not much point in just selling R2S and keeping the rest. Who benefits? Just the directors. |
And the fat lady is singing . All in all both are game over they have nothing left or worth anything and no cash to do anything . From here its huge dilution or bust and either is no use to existing shareholders |
Lol pretty fair response but lets cast our minds back to when remp was forced out , who backed remp and who voted for this shower . Only ones to blame are thosr that let it happen and thats shareholders! |

"Nick,
Thanks for this quick response. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve sold your directly-held shares, because we think the interims tell a positive story for the future, but of course I respect your decision.
Regards
John"

My reply :-
"Really? I think we can add self-delusion as well as greed, economy with the truth and incompetence to your CV John" |
Many years since I was in this one...I'm disappointed at the way it turned out...but I remember the Ramco North Sea deal.....hope this helps. |
By the time they got it will be too late gerry that and it wouldn't cover the biscuit bill never mind this lots wages. Your first statement was correct straws etc

I am not sure of the details Resourceful, or of the percentage. Juicester is the local expert, he will know the details |
is it a revenue royalty |
I may be clutching at straws, but there was some good news on Scolty in the Enquest operational update this morning (we have a royality interest in Scolty, I think it is 0.5%).
"On Scolty/Crathes, there has been excellent drilling performance on both wells, completed ahead of schedule and under budget. The Crathes reservoir has exceeded expectations and Scolty is on prognosis. Offshore construction is progressing as per schedule on the Kittiwake platform and subsea construction is planned for summer 2016." |
Reesy nothing ever happens trust me no matter how bent or corrupt it has been they wriggle out of it always . Just look at how many get to court . It simply doesnt happen and is a waste of ur time and effort and money. Just write it off and learn not to believe in uk management , they are in the majority inept and incompetent |
So incompetent or devious?
Arent we lucky. |
