Clearly they are likely to be weak, it doesn't mean the business has no value because of one bad year in an unprecedented downturn. |
Well no contracts announced in what 6 months?
Take a wild guess |
Why AIM will become the world’s best market (according to Gervais Williams) |
No! Why's that Ron? |
Stick to the day job Reesy and don't make a spectacle of yourself! ;o) (the old ones are the best!) |
Clucking bells DOW down over 1000 that's one hell of a correction.
Just chucking this out there but if there's a flight from the main indices could some of it end up in the place where stocks are already down 95%? |
News driven , which aim shares mainly are but in light of no news they will drift lower with the market |
thanks for reminding me SR |
Just because the main indices appear to be heading for a fall, does not mean the same will happen to SEA or other AIM Co's which have already fallen off a cliff.
For example - compare the FTSE 100 and SEA during the last market collapse - not really any positive correlation there, in fact SEA spiked from 20-80p.

World economy is housed though reesy , they have been riding a wave of false hope since the last recession even though things aren't much better the indicies have greatly over performed compared to reality . They could only maintain it so long but once the wheels come off it will continue to fall . 30 year ftse chart shows quite clearly what's around the corner and looks to be starting the last month or so . Not much effect here agree although it will come down on big drops on the market like most shares will |
Not quite that simple Bones
Taking the DOW as an example there is major trendline support from 2009 around the 16333 mark so most of the top chartists are looking to go long at that point with one last wave up maybe into next year anticipated.
If it drops through 16333 that's the long term trendline from 2009 broken and expect very significant further falls.
Agreed it will go at some point but we're not quite there yet.
Not sure how much relevance it'll have here though, whilst all the major index's have gone up over the last 6 years a lot of AIM stocks have shed up to 95% of their value. |
Lol about right
Told ya markets were about to crash and have for a while , I'm expecting to see the ftse 100 hit about 4500 sometime in the next 12-18 months . Look at the 30 year charts it's clear as day what was going to happen . Get out and stay out tbh |
he has a nerve to diss others who challenge him.. yet he was dishing out his vitriol at anyone who challenged his ramping on AFREN.
He openly admits at being wiped out on a share that he relentlessly ramped and then goes onto admit all his share trading hasn't been worthwhile.... he's lost more than he has made........ and then has the bleeding cheek to go on various boards dishing out his wisdom on stock trading making out that he is some share investing guru. |
he is the guru of gurus

Still think 40-50p opening offer with others then coning in and final price of say 70-80p very possible . If seplat walk or afren refuse any offer then get financibg sorted , cut opex , tell us the cash position and release results along with a new CEO would see this bearer 40p in a flash

bones698 - 26 Jan 2015 - 13:36:29 - 142298 of 166105 Watch when it goes blue shortly could see a big jump up in share price . Certainly turning a blue finish will see this moving up tomorrow very strongly

Think today we might have seen the capitulation at the end of the day . Tomorrow we will just have to wait and see which way it goes , oil moving up reasonably and positive comments from opec . I believe the fca are going to look into this for what it's worth although their lack of teeth on American hedge funds won't do much |

Lol low oil prices won't stay too long , even the Saudis will feel the pinch but are happy to keep a lid on the yanks for a while . 60-70 seems likely and don't firget this is not a everlasting commodity so will rise again . I think the days of 120 plus are gone for a few years at least but sub 40 will cripple 90% if it lasted which it won't . Afren can service debts down to 39 a barrel so there is no panic like some keep waffling on about the only question is if they want to keep developing then the debts need to reflect lower poo for a year or two . The hedge is a huge plus for afren this year . Tighter control on spending and renegotiated debts is not an issue . Far too much scaremongering but they are fast approaching the turn if not here already . |
How's GKP doing these days then bones? |
