Reesy gkp isn't aim for a start , plus have you not read the latest news regarding payments from the krg including back pay for monies owed of which gkp are owed 330million. They also have the local agreement for oil sales for the next 6 months .
Regarding your losses well that's the game but low sell high . The point was the potential to multibbag and companies like that have assets worth a fortune , sea has r2s . I know which is rather take a chance on at this point to recover . I gave it as an example but sure people have their own ideas on what has big potential , sea isn't one of them so think it's fair advice to try and recoup it elsewhere . This from the one who wouldn't listen to my thoughts on sea and logp hmmm don't think your going to get away that lightly reesy . Banning me comes with some expected consequences lol |
Doesn't bode well for the oil and gas part if this anything to go by. |
Stock riser yes and if people had listened would they be better of , muppet One for the filter list has to pay to post says it all tit |
Wow, you're full of unlicensed advice!!! |
Unfortunately it's a bit late for an egm as they have wasted all the cash and pocketed it . These things always happen too late as they take an age to setup and get the required votes etc . It's now a case of bottom draw for a very long time tbh and I just don't see r2s providing the required excitement it would take to get any value back for shareholders . On the bright side it's sunny out .
Personally even now i'd sell up take the hit and re invest it in a share which at least has a chance to multi bag and that way get ur money back . Leaving it in here means you have become too attached to it and are living in hope rather than reality that it's a failure tbh . Chances of sea 5-10 bagging from here 2% maybe but say Gkp or another share with potential at least has a better chance to do it . Hard to sell sat on a big loss but sometimes it's the only way . That or sell up and blow it on prostitutes and beer lol although the standard of hooker might be somewhat less :) |
EGM Stuart was working on it, waiting on an update
MBO no idea I'd put nothing past this lot anymore
FCA nothing suspicious about feathering your own nest whilst destroying the company with your greed in the process. |
EGM anyone? Has motivation been lost to call one? MBO anyone? March on HQ Aberdeen? JAW head on a stick anyone?
FCA....Obligation to report suspicious transactions - anyone? |
What this needs is a good ole Texas lawsuit to brighten up the Friday afternoons. |
Lmao very true on both counts . Good to see all the old faces still around ,should start having a reunion night out be better than going to the agm lol. I'll bring the sick bags for juls |
Less of the 'Shandy drinker' Bones.I am known as 'Broke shandy drinker' now! Lol.Still around, but am to incredulous to post. |
Lol a chance to admire the plant pots on display in the worlds most expensive flower shop . More likely an rns saying we know no reason for anything but issuing rns's means I'm earning my ridiculous salary .
Perhaps they should try inserting one of the r2s cameras into a few of them rectally and see if that's motivates them |
An RNS from the company indicating that they know of no reason for today's 1% rise after lunch?
If you had 120K's worth of SEA shares now Bones you would be getting an invite to the company xmas do and strategic shareholder away days |
Old bones just the same as the new one tbh just little chance of humour when trying to save pi wealth lol . Reesy will need his last bit of that for the Grecian 2000 once he tells the missus lol. Even when things were bad in the remp days we managed a laugh though much preferred it that way . Seems very few win overall on the markets anymore and simply not worth it . Set myself up with a great pension just need to get to retirement age and enjoy it . Even that I pulled out into cash as I see the markets imploding soon .
Remember my sea shares at one time were worth 120k they were the days, wish I had sold them but think we all made the same mistakes . Had my winners and enjoyed spending the money at the times but otherwise it's just another form of gambling and the house always wins in the end. Much prefer being out of it and just posting these days |
Good to see something of the old Bones back. Bones, you remind me of that cyborg from Humans. A glitch in the programming code... Looks like we got the nice old version back. Anyway, now we have lost money, we can join lol! |
Bones it was the comment you made on the LOGP thread I found unpalatable but fair do's you could have really given it large yesterday but you didn't so welcome back.
Having said that I'm a bit more grumpy these days so expect as good as you give.
My youngest ended up in Lancaster uni yesterday (A level results) so I expect he'll come back talking like the hovis bloke in due course.
Looked in my dear old mum's ISA yesterday she has 4 STY shares which currently are worth more than this Co /lol
For anyone who hasn't make sure your in touch with Stuart (link in header re his email) unlike this BOD he's been far from idle. |
Stop buttering them up bones, you big softie, and tell them how it really is. All the best to the auld timers. |
wotcha bones
i am doing good. just became a dad again couple of months back so am feeling my age.
are you still in that northern paradise we know as bolton?
faring well? still in touch with juicester? |
Disagree on both points. Will see who is right in due course. |
Ceph pretty much on the money although punning your hopes on a 1 in 8 shot is poor business sense if that's the case . Stevemmg your missing the points here tbh , firstly they overpaid for r2s which is now not performing very well and growth has turned into decline as low oil prices hit home so it's not that good anymore . Second sea now has no money and will need to raise funds on the open market at a discount so likely a placing at 5p seems likely now the logp strategy has failed . The share price will fall to that level when it happens .
So in effect sea is not cheap even at this level so be careful as you will get caught out and lose money thinking its cheap . Think about it
Hey Brando u ugly mutha , how is the footy reporter these days lol |
ronaldao (that's portuguese for large ronald by the way) how the divvil are you? not sure if it's right for me to be saying 'nice to see you here' as it suggests you might still have cash tied up in this sorry basketcase... as bones says - sad for old timers to see what became of what was once such an exciting company. i got out long ago - one of my better decisions! tend to focus now on more boring, jam today stocks - though have had a couple of successful racier punts on the likes of STY - but at least you know what you are getting with shopfitters!
take care big man. |
Looks like sea were depending on a cash injection from LOGP. It begs the question why they delayed their agm to almost precisely when the midleton drill was supposed to be completed. Yet it completed way early. It would have been a valid strategy if Midleton had come in with a strike. A deal could have looked very interesting, and Sea would be able to do a nice trade sale for their block of shares. |
Wow someone parted with their shares at a company valuation of £4m! |
