I can't smell any gas coming in with that off-shore wind
But I can see a very dire chart |
Talk about a huge amount of emotion in peoples investment decisions! This is a bargain price for R2S. Buy when others are fearful. |
they not showing the sells ! mine just gone :( fed up with it all . 116000 ish you should do well now im gone ! lol |
OMG not Barrymore as well, that's all we need
Good to see a few old faces even if it's not the best of times
A few buys on LOGP and SEA just now? wierd |
Although out now since the 20's,(and lost money), I still keep an eye on the place. What upsets me is that when LOGP were rising sharply, this never moved...yet when Logp fell, the market dropped this like a stone....which tends to imply that maybe logp is not the problem and the logp fall was just an excuse. Bones689 is right. the AIM is a dangerous place at the moment...However, with Barrymore there is still one more throw of the dice. |
"Are the management here upto the task in this environment?"
That's the big question. It is not clear what the current executive management has added to R2S -- apart from a thick layer of extra central costs.
Last SEA accounts showed no cash and £22k overdraft, while last trading update indicated first-half losses. Funding is clearly needed, and the LOGP investment is the obvious answer... but dumping that size of stake after today's news may not get the very best price.
Best hope is that the original R2S team with their earn-out now decide to buy a few shares, requisition an EGM, force out the costly board, reinstate themselves as directors and cut central costs to the bone.
R2S earned 50% margins with 33 staff (including directors) in 2013, so the former directors know something about keeping costs low. That tends to happen when you own the business yourself.
And there is always this: hxxps://seashareholderactiongroup.wordpress.com/2015/07/07/action-group/ |
Remp's down £95k today, perhaps he will reconsider??
Utter shambles. last piece of material news was back in February (not counting the numerous BS industry awards that SEA failed to win..) - in that time JAW's earned himself c£105k, crazy. And wtf has Berty done for his £150k salary apart from watch the money evaporate.. Sorry guys, do the right thing and resign, let R2s take over and streamline what's left of a business.
David Sigsworth can naff off with his pathetic 60,000 shares too.. what value has he ever added? Can't stand that smirk he has on the director pics, he just knows he's getting paid to do f all.
I've lost a significant amount of money with SeaEnergy, what a spectacular demonstration of mismanagement and failure. |
"replaced by a new team that can realise the potential of R2S a lot better."
The original R2S team were doing fine - is that not the reason we bought the company? |
Why don't they bring our results forward.....and announce that in todays RNS. They've already had more than 6 weeks to cobble them together. Which is more than ample time, given the very modest scale of our business.......... |
They are good at writing RNS announcements. If there was money in that, this co would be a goer.
They could rename themselves RNSholes Plc |
I guess the statement is implying that R2S business is doing as forecast at the last statement.
Too hacked off to comment further, though. The Celtic Sea has not been good for this company. |
Game over logp abject failure will now drag sea down with it . Sorry guys but the writing was on the wall when remp left tbh . Reesy bet your not so gobby now , that's what you get for banning someone who knew a lot more than you and many others . |

SeaEnergy PLC
Share price movement
SeaEnergy PLC (AIM: SEA) ("SeaEnergy" or the "Company") notes the recent movement in its share price. It also notes that Lansdowne Oil & Gas plc, a company in which SeaEnergy holds an interest of 18.67%, announced this afternoon that its Midleton exploration well had encountered gas volumes that were not considered commercial and that the well was to be plugged and abandoned, as a result of which Lansdowne's share price has declined significantly. The Company is not aware of any other reasons for the recent movement in its own share price. |
