It's traded £2k of shares, hardly a market!! |
Looks like it's just you and me Korki. WTF are these idiots playing at (apart from @@@@ing over this company)? Not a bloody word. |
Well our (overpaid?) bean counters have had 6 weeks to add up one and one since our half year end on the 30th June. It surely shouldn't be that difficult?
Many much more complex companies with the same half year end, have managed to produce their Results in recent days.
Why, please do we have to wait till "early" next month? Are our bean counters all on holiday? Or is the "one plus one equals two" concept proving difficult?
Meanwhile, we continue to drift down to new lows.................who cares? |
So pretty much all hope for sea now hinges on the drill . Given the fact the have completed one by the looks of it and are moving to the next with no Rns is worrying . Any material news must be released to the market in a timely manner so no rns means ? I'm guessing that they haven't found anything worthwhile and are holding off until the next drill in the hope of avoiding a duster . If they hit then should have been released imo . Not looking good with r2s now suffering too . Overpaid for an outfit that is in a shrinking market with oil set to be here for some length . |
LOGP providing SEA's main hope for a re-rating. The board must appreciate that they no longer are pursuing marine / shipping & consultancy and therefore to have the same number of executives overseeing RTS (who could probably oversee itself better) is untenable. The token drop in JAW's 200k salary isn't acceptable and costs should be slashed in line with both performance (or rather lack of it) and reduced duties.
Regardless, the LOGP value within SEA means RTS is valued at a silly level. Fingers crossed, LOGP have a gas discovery confirmed. |
Spud at LOGP |
Schroders are one of the best in UK shares. |
Exactly stockriser; I wouldn't be suggesting insider dealing, but if you work in an environment where your privvy to aspects the great unwashed are not; I don't think you'd be stick yer monies on a donkey for no good reason.
This particular Mr Mahon isn't short of a £ or 2 |
Don't think it really matters Phil - What matters is that someone has displayed they have faith in the old seahorse to the tune of approx. £185k

Gcm18 suggested this chappie as our Kieran Mahon, what does the panel think?...

Interesting that I can only get a quote to buy 100 shares (£11.25), I've never known the buy limit as low as that - usually you can get at least 1K. |
LOGP price will be higher than this soon....... |
LOGP on the move again |
This chap perhaps?

Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough |
OK Korki, hopefully this piece of intellectual input will help to cheer you up from your swamp of despair......
'This miry Slough is such a place as cannot be mended; it is the descent whither the scum and filth that attends conviction for sin doth continually run, and therefore is it called the Slough of Despond: for still as the sinner is awakened about his lost condition, there ariseth in his soul many fears, and doubts, and discouraging apprehensions, which all of them get together, and settle in this place; and this is the reason of the badness of this ground.'
You might like these as well......
“The road of denial leads to the precipice of destruction”
“If you continue in this direction you are likely to experience wearisomeness, painfulness, hunger, perils, nakedness, sword, lions, dragons, darkness, and, in a word, death, and who knows what else.” |
Come on Phil, keep this thread alive.
How about a quote from John Bunyan's "Pilgrims Progress"?
A quote from the chapter dealing with "The Slough of Despond" might be appropriate?
I welcome your intellectual input, I was (to be honest)more focussed on the Shareholder Action Group "acronym" ShAg, or to be more precise "shagged". For which Lady C was famous.................................. |
Very apt Korki......
Lady Chatterley's Lover by D H Lawrence
Chapter 1
Ours is essentially a tragic age, so we refuse to take it tragically. The cataclysm has happened, we are among the ruins, we start to build up new little habitats, to have new little hopes. It is rather hard work: there is now no smooth road into the future: but we go round, or scramble over the obstacles. We've got to live, no matter how many skies have fallen. |
