28/4/2017 10:31 | Good read that. | ifthecapfits
28/4/2017 09:50 | There is an old image from Shell/Apache. When they were surveying the area from within SDX's block, going west far out into western desert (where many oil discoveries have been made). Its going back to the mid 90's and the area covering SDX's block back then was called the 'South Delta Block'. I wonder if the prospective horizons they were looking for back then were more obvious out in the western desert area than they were in the onshore Nile delta? Also, given the leaps forward in seismic, imaging and other data, we are hopefully in a better position to unearth what's down there. Cash | cashandcard
28/4/2017 09:35 | Its PW teasing shareholders, the clues are out their, " we are very confident in 3d data now"."If this comes in we have a lot of running room in this block". | neo26

28/4/2017 09:14 | Agree Neo but with 3 chances at oil, I'm optimistic and a hit will blow 80p out of the water | pauliewonder
28/4/2017 08:52 | I think we would have been over 80p had we just found gas and testing began. But because sdx are drilling deeper in the same well for oil, mm's are playing their games.Time will tell but whatever happens the company is undervalued. | neo26
28/4/2017 08:43 | You can sell 50000 at 63.70 | javea
28/4/2017 08:22 | That will be smashed on oil strike Zak. Double it. | tidy 2
28/4/2017 08:19 | I think the mm's don't want to be surprised like they did s day before good Friday..By now if it was fizzy water they would have completed drilling.Early next week..You wouldn't want to be out over the long weekend. :-) | neo26

28/4/2017 06:10 | The research note is very useful, however it was written prior to the gas discovery at SD-1X and therefore the valuations need to be adjusted accordingly. | griffin81
28/4/2017 01:47 | Not my favourite chartist but here is Zak Mir's opinion in brief: Re-posting the link in post 1989 so it is active as well: While I am at it here is the last link from tidy 2 as well: | lauders

27/4/2017 18:19 | Griffin, I don,t normally post, but I must take issue with the contents of your post. I had been in Sound since the Summer and came out a couple of months ago, I realised that Sound provides the benefit of waiting as the liquidity event will be huge but in reality 12 to 18 months time and monies can be better invested elsewhere. I have built a significant holding in SDX and more recently thanks to FSJ, AAOG. Paul Welch is a great CEO and I believe that the company could achieve a late 2017 target of £2.00 with its various projects both internally and exploration. However James Parsons is an incredibly honest and respectful CEO . The companies are completely different. Sound is looking to achieve a sale price in the many Billions and hence will take time to prove up. SDX is looking to generate cash flows to justify its $1b exit, which I personally believe is more value enhancing in the near future. My personal goal is to reap the rewards of SDX ( and AAOG) and then move the monies back to Sound. But this strategy recognises the skills of the CEO,s but also the different scales of the two ventures. But again James Parsons, is a phenominal CEO and his respect for PI,s is unquestionable. 27/4/2017 17:43 | also SDX has interests in Morocco on top of existing production and their prospects in Egypt, with a market cap around a quarter of SOU's | bountyhunter
27/4/2017 17:24 | Certainly seems that PW is well respected with a good track record. In at lower levels. Now time to sit and do nothing ( I hope) | brahmsnliszt
27/4/2017 17:16 | The contrast between SOU and SDX is remarkable. Each time I see JP at SOU being interviewed I struggle to trust him, I watched the recent interview and he constantly repeated 31 TCF, yet never mentioned once that this is the very top of expectations with the outcomes ranging from 9 (low), 17 (medium) to 31 (high) TCF. Nor did he mention that 9 TCF is yet to be proven, and the results so far (from the ones they haven't held back) are not encouraging. In contrast, PW at SDX is a proven performer in this space, and constantly understates and over delivers. I have complete confidence he will guide SDX to become a Billion value company, and most importantly, I trust him and his judgement, he has a sold eye for cash generative deals. As we watch the two stocks play out their journeys, I believe it will be SDX that in the end creates the most value for shareholders, and I suspect after today's catastrophic webcast with SOU, more investors will be switching their wealth from SOU to SDX. I won't be back in SOU anytime soon, but I added further in SDX today. | griffin81
27/4/2017 15:21 | They want our gas: hxxps://energyegypt. | captain james t kirk
27/4/2017 14:38 | All I can say is that I received a message from SDX alerting service announcing the gas discovery at 7.00 a.m. April 18. I love this board! You guys really know your stuff! | vanmorrison60 |
