Neo you are full of nonsequiturs. There are other big shareholders other than Aleph who have nowhere near enough to take control. The Takeover code lasts until 2027 so no opportunity for 'taking it all ' Aleph have just made a further loan for another year .What we do need though is an operational update

*if* the delsisiitng is succesfull. It will not take many votes for us to get to 25% against.

I've already made several calls to other PI's this morning. We are all voting against it. I cannot see the likes of Brackett, Giposn, D'Amore voting for this... we only need a couple of them and I plan to lobby them directly.

Winnet, if the delisting is successful, imho you will lose all your money, you will have no protection and aleph will take it all. These directors are shameful, avoid them in future.Be careful. Carefully planned, made sure aleph secured loans now will take assets now that they delisting.

Thanks for your advice Roman, but i think I'll keep my all of my holding. I am also buying more this morning.

There is no relationship between this decision, regarding listing and bankruptcy. You are making a false correlation. In my view, this is all about major holders trying to assert their dominance and squeezing out the little man. AIM has rules and guess what, they don't like the rules.

There is no correlation between the listing status and performance. They shouldn't need to raise more finance, we just did that.

As I said, 75%, no chance.

Winnet - if they don't get 75% then the company goes bankrupt. You either have a share of something, or a share of nothing.

For several years SDX has been looking for funding, everyone in finance knows their name and they have never found it. Aleph was literally a last resort and it soon became clear Aleph wanted control of the company, not to help the company. Bleed it dry and take it for nothing, this is very common.

I don't see any other outcome than 75% approval (i.e. you'll have a share of an unlisted company), they can then do what they want with new AoA and squeeze you out.

I would sell now while you can

Anytime these directors come in another stock run a mile. This is fishy. In my view they planned this from the start, ran the company down by purpose. Now aleph has secured loan which they can never pay back. They will take the company. Hard luck to investors.

TNT - no, you'll just have to trade the shares over the counter.

Surely if they want to take it private they would have to pay a price for the shares? But hopefully this crazy idea will be voted down

Just looking at the statement in the header, albeit from a few years ago:
"
“We aim to produce in the range of 25,000 to 30,000 barrels per day”, says Paul Welch, CEO of SDX Energy, while talking to Malcolm Graham-Wood, Oil Analyst at Malcy's Blog, on today’s CEO interview segment..."

Malcy has had his fingers in the pies of most of the O&G failures over many years. I wouldn't be at all surprised if his activities are subject to criminal investigation before he pops his clogs.

You might be right and I hope you are but I don't want to risk an unquoted share in my SIPP so sold my holding. I wish all those PI's that continue to hold a successful outcome
