this bodes well, the mm's are playing games, this is really exciting well to drill, it will check for both oil and gas, once the company found out the deeper bearings might have oil all the big players in Egypt wanted to farm in, we already have a partner and they are paying they majority of costs to drill this.

Perfect...

And the flip side of that is that last week you could buy at the bid during a couple of short windows that I tried.

Surely the moral here is that if you want to know exactly what is going on then do not waste your time monitoring how many trades ADVFN have listed as sales and how many they have listed as buys. Far better to do a dummy trade, or rather two dummy trades, one to establish the cheapest offer and one to establish the best bid. For instance today at around 2pm the quote was showing 46.25 to 47, so ADVFN would have listed any deals done at 47 as purchases, but I tried a series of dummy sales at around that time and I was getting 47 bid for large blocks even though the offer in the market was 47 ! It did not take too much brain power to recognise that the underlying situation was much stronger than the market price was suggesting, and frankly I am not at all surprised to see the price now attempting to regain its earlier strength, and nor would I be surprised to see it close tonight at say 49/50 !

It is also true to say that the buy, sell price and spread have been set continually on this share in order to show buys as sells.....its been happening ever since the placing....

If you execute a buy yourself, you can say with some certainty whether its a buy or a sell! The last time I bought here which was last week, it showed as a sell, because of the spread shown at the time....which MM have control of ....fact!

Most platforms use the mid price as the marker, as to whether a buy or a sell.
I use Money am and that is certainly their policy.
As a for instance, this morning a late trade appeared for 20,000 shares at 47.5p, an hour late, with a time of 8.12.23 against it. It was listed as a buy but if one tracks back the bid/offer at 8.12 was 47.5/48.0, so that suggests it was in fact a sell.
If buys or sells are being actioned the "wrong" side of the mid price, ie with a 47/48 bid/offer a buy is actioned at 47.4p, it will show as a sell and the same applies vice versa at 47.6. On Money am the mid price (47.5p in the above example) is always shown as unknown ?

"Buys going through as sells"

NONSENSE UTTER AND COMPLETE NONSENSE

THIS IS CONSPIRACY THINKING AND IS UNHELPFUL

transactions are not flagged as buys or sells.

when they are listed by whichever data provider you are looking at the data provider makes an informed guess simply by taking the transactions close to the buy price as BUYS and those close to the sell price as SELLS. It follows that some of these guesses will be incorrect. But that is NOT because transactions have "gone through" with an incorrect identifier.

You need to move past all the bulletin board conspiracy nonsense.

SDX have a 19% entitlement interest in Meseda block at present they receive 760bopd, once these new pumps are fitted this can be increased by upto 1621 bopd net to sdx, i think the pumps should be fitted by end of march.

The more i look into it the more i see what a great company sdx is and what it can be...
