22/3/2017 13:44 | CashThis is really important, our partners are familiar AEB zone and we have experience in the Abu madi zone.It really bodes well, incidentally this part of Egypt has found massive reserves of gas. | ![]() neo26
22/3/2017 12:02 | IPR are SDX's partner, carrying the majority of the well cost. On their website it says; "IPR Energy Resources, Ltd. acquired from Sea Dragon Energy Inc. a 45% working interest in the South Disouq Concession, IPR's first in the Nile Delta and first working with EGAS. The block comprises 1,275 km² of area and is located in the prolific Abu Madi – Baltim trend. The block is estimated to contain more than 1TCF of resource potential (P10 )". IPR also produce oil from the AEB zone in western desert, one of SDX's deep targets in this well. Cash | ![]() cashandcard
21/3/2017 20:00 | Hi Slepy, I also am a long suffering holder in AEX who sold some recently at an overall loss as I was too concerned that they would run out of road to average down when they were on the floor, but am happy to have a fair few still to ride the Ntorya wild horse. With the proceeds I bought some here in the last two weeks. It was nice for me to see post 691 today from tournesol, who I recall was prescient in the Fool days when selling all his oilies before the fall. Hope he is on the ball again with SDX. Good luck with AEX and SDX. | tauroctinus
21/3/2017 17:49 | Hi cash, As you said, they have cashflow and good mix of assets. Management seems to be on the ball as well. All they need is a bit of luck with the drill. I was choosing between SDX and HUR today and ended up with now 20k SDX shares. Something about HUR which puts me off. I might be wrong though with their "imminent news". Just like AEX imo. A lot of pumping and a cold shower when RNS comes out. | slepy
21/3/2017 16:11 | TournesolIf they strike gas or oil or both, you will likely see that target I'm less than 6 weeks.. | ![]() neo26
21/3/2017 15:47 | My personal target is 100p within 3-6 months. Longer term we could easily be talking about 200-500p within a few years. | ![]() tournesol
21/3/2017 15:44 | slepy, Welcome aboard. Good to have you here, many similarities between SDX and AEX. In the main, SDX's production, cashflow, asset mix (Oil/Gas, Egypt/Morocco) and ambitious management is what will drive this one forward. I don't think we will be waiting 6-7years here buddy. Plan is to turn this one into a midcap, producing 25-30kboepd, in the medium term. If they discover Gas/Oil in this well, that plan will become a reality. Cash | ![]() cashandcard
21/3/2017 15:08 | It will need more volume to break through 50p. | slepy
21/3/2017 15:02 | looks like we may break out at last been waiting long enough,so cheap | ![]() tom111
21/3/2017 14:45 | Bought more SDX today. Hugely excited by the situation here. | ![]() someuwin
21/3/2017 12:48 | Yes quite possibly captain. | ![]() soulsauce
21/3/2017 12:47 | borg they are just my thoughts and nothing more. Someone a bit more savvy of oiler valuations might disagree but I think + or - 30p they will not be far off for a find. | ![]() soulsauce
21/3/2017 12:45 | soulsauce With respect, the first gas play in the Karf El Sheikh is at approximately 4,000ft and they are drilling to a TD of 10,300ft to test the deeper oil prospect, as well as the main gas play in the Abu Madi at around 7,500 ft. They have stated that depending on what they discover, the drill should take 30-45 days. The first section will be the quickest and on the above figures with a fair wind and no desert storms, we could get first news at the end of next week or early w/c 3rd April. | ![]() captain james t kirk
21/3/2017 12:36 | Cheers Soul | ![]() borg45
21/3/2017 12:25 | Borg would expect first news around 20th April give or take. Based on other aim oiler valuations anything is possible but imo:- Duster we will have some short term weakness but can't see it below 40p. Gas only 120 - 150p Oil only 150 - 180p Gas and oil 250p+ Has to be remembered that any find at SD1 would derisk the 2nd drill significantly and any other targets on the block for that matter. The beauty is here even if sd doesn't come in there is little or no downside from here. | ![]() soulsauce
21/3/2017 12:05 | SoulWhen do you expect news on SD1?More to the point where do you expect the share price to get to? | ![]() borg45

21/3/2017 11:38 | Morning all, After holding AEX for close to 7 years(in loss), I've sold half of my holding recently on the rise. Bough 10k SDX today as it looks like a way undervalued company with great prospects. Will double my holding over the coming few days. Nice to see some posters from AEX's old times. Cash ;) GLA | slepy
